Ordered by secure message; reply seems to suggest no problem.soulsaver said:I've got to get past the debit card application too... I've gamed the reward solo & joint from first launch, but don't ever remember seeing the jt debit card, so I have to apply.

They make clear you must live in N.I so I assume they enforce this now?0

You won't be able to open an account without a BT postcode. The requirement does not extend to existing account holders - i.e. those who move to GB or those who opened an account before the requirement was added.[Deleted User] said:They make clear you must live in N.I so I assume they enforce this now?0 -

Reminder that the new conditions start tomorrow.hgt said:Just had notification from Danske that from 1st September 2022 there will be changes to the cash reward account...
- Reward reduced from £7 to £5
- Min pay in reduced from £1200 to £1000
- New requirement to make at least 8x debit card transactions per month
- Account fee remains at £2 per month3 -
Did my 2 x 8 debit card deposits to one of my saving accounts in about 10 minutes yesterday.
I'd have spread over a couple of acs.. but one seems to baulk at more than 3 close together... and I'd already done that limit with Halifax Reward DCs.1 -
Has anyone come up with a way to automate 8x debit card transactions per month? I did manage to set up my Chip account to pull from my Danske debit card 8 times during a month, but Chip are soon introducing fees which will make this not cost effective.0

Set up an automatic payment of £1 per day using your Danske debit card to Amazon gift card on 1st of month. Do this easily via Amazon website. On the 9th or 10th of the month, cancel the automatic payment and then set it up again on the first day of the next month. Just remember to leave around £10 (safety margin) plus £2 for the monthly fee taken at the end of the month in Danske account at the start of the month when you're doing the monthly £1000 payment in and out. After 6 months you have £48 to spend on Amazon, which most people (?) would be spending anyway.hgt said:Has anyone come up with a way to automate 8x debit card transactions per month? An interesting suggestion but it's hardly automated as you have to login to Amazon twice every month and click a few buttons. It probably takes about the same time as just doing 8 debit card transactions to pay credit card/savings account etc.

It probably takes about the same time as just doing 8 debit card transactions to pay credit card/savings account etc.You could just leave it running every day and accept that you're putting £20-23 a month in to Amazon credit over what is needed.I aim to get 5% off face value when I buy Amazon credit, so it'd be a lazy tax of a little more than a quid a month. Still worth it if you'd otherwise miss the £3.0
