Post numbers 63 and 65 both explain it. Custardy was referring to the woman in the video and called "her" an idiot. Not you, none of us know whether you are a man or woman and none of us care, it is irrelevant information to the topic. I actually until that point assumed you were male, probably because of the name of the person who posted on Facebook for you, the rest of us knew that Custardy was talking about the woman in the video because he quoted it and made an additional comment on the video. You are the only one who assumed it was directed at you and even now you've been told it wasn't you refuse to believe it.
Just imagine the trauma of the poor Royal Mail CS staff.

I don't see any explanation on those posts, but if you say so then I believe you. Took a while though, if I thought someone had taken something the wrong way I would have posted a proper explanation.0

I agree with that and I take all comments on board, however the tone of some the comments was quite unpleasant at times. Something I would not have expected from this type of forum.0

When posting on a forum and writing out factual posts then they often come across quite blunt and "not nice" especially when they are pointing out where someone is wrong.
But if everyone spent extra time making sure their post came across as "nice" and beating around the bush when someone was wrong then this forum would be far less helpful to people.
If you want decent advice, honest opinions and help solving a problem then this is a good forum.
If you want people to be nice, understanding and all say how bad a company is but ultimately not solve the problem then i'm sure there are other forums/website that offer this.0 -
you say you didnt receive any constructive feedback, but what i think you meant was no one told you what you wanted to hear.
unfortunately you didnt follow the guidelines and ultimately the blame is on your end. This may not be nice to hear or what you wanted but that is the fact of the matter.
everything else is immaterial.
I think peoples expectations on here sometimes is to post something they have done wrong and look for a way to pass the blame and get around it.
Sometimes though you have to bite the bullet and accept that sometimes it is the consumers fault.0
