OK
Stop
Do NOT try to work this in parallel. You MUST clear the CCJ FIRST
You must get CLEARED FUNDS to them now. You MUST then get a reciept AT THE SAME TIME and then get this to the court TODAY, BEFORE 4pm. I would not risk leaving it until tomorrow.
This has an *absolute* *irrevocable* deadline you cannot afford to miss.1 -

Payment done, used the telephone automated service, was confirmed as 'successful', there was no mention on the automated service for a receipt?
The letter from Gladstones says that if payment is made within one month, they will notify the court and the judgement should be removed.0 -
Yes, but youre presuming this will happen
I woud email Gladstones with a payment reference, presuming you got at least that?
You could also show the payment on your card to the court -the Order giving default judgement should say whcih court this is.
Given how important this is, and how close the deadline is, I woud take absolutely no changes.1 -

ok called and spoke to someone, requested an email receipt, they said could take up to 24 hours to send it to me, I asked her to confirm the payment and that they would notify the court, she said yes and yes0 -
OK, and whats your plan if the dont do that?
You have, realistically, the rest of today and tomorrow morning for the court to have this notification.
DId yo uget their name?
Why dont you also notifiy the court. That would be a sensible move.
They have NO incentive to get this done in time. NONE.0 -
OK so now work on not using the above template, it is IMHO now a bit outdated and talks about October 2017 changes that Gladstones *sort of* adhere to, so IMHO it's too old a letter to use, and IMHO too wordy.
Your OH should reply asking for all letter and all photos, but also list ALL the PCNs not covered by that CCJ, and state that it is an abuse of process to file matters that turn on the same facts, as separate claims/Letters before Claim, and they must amalgamate them and serve ONE claim to him. Remind them of the doctrine of res judicata, that a Claimant cannot have more than one attempt at court over essentially the same facts, expecting a different result and wasting the court's time and escalating the costs for a consumer victim of a 'rogue' (Watchdog's words) firm like PCM.
And as he was away, he notes that PCNs xxxxxx xxxxxx and xxxxxx have already been the subject of a claim he was unable to respond to in time, due to being away, and that payment has been made (and accepted, a phone call confirmed it) under protest, in order to avoid a CCJ, and is in no way an admission, and has made him determined to fight the claim for the other seven.
Demand the photos and letters to be sent to him regarding the seven PCNs and that these have been amalgamated, and demand that G's confirm that their client has checked and accounted for all 'outstanding PCNs' and will include all of them in the single claim.
He must also state that he denies liability, and that the ticketing at this location followed PCM's typical predatory MO. And that he is aware they were exposed on Watchdog as 'making it up most of the time' re appeals, so he knows he would never have had a fair appeals process, had he tried, and that all residents at that site were being harassed and suffered 'private nuisance' at the hands of PCM.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have just sent an email quoting the payment reference, claim number and amount to the court. Trying to call them but the line is constantly engaged ATM, will keep trying.0 -
You are a stranger to all this, and are not the Defendant. CCBC won't discuss his case with you unless he is with you to authorise you speak...is he there with you right now, if not there is NO point phoning as a third party.
I hope you sent the email from his email addy, in HIS name not yours?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
