Many letters, not even owner!

It would also be helpful to know which pps this is. There are 3 companies with the initials pps.1

Don't expect the same as the council from PPS.
PPC's on the whole are not so intelligent, just money
scammers, that's all they want.
DRP on the other hand are somewhat thick in the head
and they lie and fabricate stupid stories.
Don't get involved with these timewasters, nothing they
can do, powerless drongos

I filled in the "Transfer of Liability" form on the back of the first NTK adding that a copy of the sale receipt was attached. I also emailed the following:
.....................
Dear Sirs,
Please find attached scans of the above notice, showing both the Transfer of Liability section (the original of which has been posted to your Transfer Dept.) and a copy of the vehicle sale receipt showing that the new owner is a resident at the address of the notice and was so two days before.
Yours faithfully,
.................
I received an automated response to the email but no reply to the Transfer of Liability that was posted. I have a certificate of posting.
I cannot show a receipt of payment as that had to be given to the new owner but I can show the receipt he gave me for receiving the car. Both were dated 3 days before the first ticket, as was the V5. I am sure he will let me copy the payment receipt should I need it.0 -
It's Private Parking Solutions (London) Ltd0

Ouch. Odds of court http://www.parkingappeals.info/companydata/Private_Parking_Solutions_London.html
This lot likes to issue claims. I think your letter could have been clearer too. It's not moron friendly which it needs to be when communicating with a ppc.
I would send another one spelling out you had already sold the car. Use language a child would understand.2 -
moron friendly

I think mine are clear, but you could try and replace everything 2+ syllable word with a 1 syllable alternative!
Add that when you wrote you completed* the Transfer of Liability form.
eg * this word could be replaced with "filled in"Although a practising Solicitor, my posts here are NOT legal advice, but are personal opinion based on limited facts provided anonymously by forum users. I completely agree. Those are very, very well crafted letters.2 -
Your V5 change will have produced an acknowledgement letter from the DVLA. Have you got it?
Did you unequivably nominate the buyer as the driver when responding to the NtK?1 -
I crossed out "To the best of my knowledge" and left "the keeper/driver" un-circled. So effectively nominated him as the driver.
If I'm going to write the two letters mentioned in #10 I have to do so today. Should I get certificates of posting?1 -
Yes. Send first class with free proof of posting.2
