Nearly as annoying as lane hogs who will crawl behind slower traffic then nail it when the lane becomes clear to only slavishly follow behind the next vehicle in 'their' lane.....grrrrr. It's as if any overtaking lane is a no go zone!
Oh Jeez yes! You'll be in lane 2 overtaking a line of traffic in lane 1, and these bozos will rush up behind you and tailgate you until you pull into lane 1 ... even though lane 3 is perfectly clear!0 -
It's people who crawl to a slow stop at red lights on a hill hoping they change to green again before they have to stop that annoy the !!!! out of me. Either learn how to do a hill start or hand your licence back in.
The light ain't going to change to green until it senses a car at the line anyway so you're just delaying yourself further.0 -

Both didn't read the whole post to the end. I said the lights won't change until there is a vehicle there to make it change as it gives priority to the other direction of traffic.
Also there is a difference to rushing up to the lights and slamming the brakes on and driving normally up to them. Also why does this only happen on a hill? I stand correct - learn to do a !!!!ing hill start!

Not slowing down or stopping is most efficient. Trigger the sensor, roll through. Not always possible of course, but not stopping is a good aim, hill starts or not. Who said anything about rushing up to lights other than driving normally for the previous mile until you reach the lights. These fools who can't do a hill start will crawl from the bottom of the hill. Same idiots who will floor it if the light is still green.
