[STRIKE]* dig out a pattern [/STRIKE]& material to make madam a p.e bag

My goodness, chocolate and chilli soup sounds amazing DNMS.
I had a bit of a restless night last night, but have laid in bed late this morning, and am just up. I think plans for today are to stay at the cottage. One of my friends is coming to visit us and I'm thinking we'll spend much of out time in and out of the tub
May be able to bag a nsd, but every time I say that I end up ruining it.
Other plans are to relax as much as possible, try not to lose my temper with the kids and remain zen at all times :rotfl:Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Do price comparision for the shop I got yesteday from aldi to what I would have paid at Mr T, as dh is thinking the price difference from the other two shops is just a fluke! One more comparison and I think he'll stop moaning! Done Aldi £24.46 vs T £37.27

Ironing - only what "needs" doing, the rest will just lose the crease whilst hung in the wardrobes
Hopefully I'll be adding more as the day goes on but thats my start.
** Whilst going to Sains I took a bag of fabric recycling to the bin there rather then the tip which I keep forgetting to take when we go!
** We had friends call in who brought some hand me down school jumpers/shirts for ds2, a few I will keep and a few I will pass onto another friend with a younger child. Friend also brought cup cakes which was a lovely surprise
** Straightened up kitchen book shelf as its become a bit of a dumping ground with the kids - decluttered a couple of books into the charity shop page.
** Taken measurements of the space I have for my kitchen bin as the pedal broke on mine and so I've just been making do with the inner bin but I don't like that as kids keep missing it and stuff is falling out. Its a funny little gap I've got so I've taken the measurements, put them on my phone and will put my tape measure in my bag so that I'm ready! Lots of the bins I've looked at online wouldn't open fully in the gap beneath the counter - who knew bin shopping could be so difficult!
Take care all.
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Been a crazy day today!
My son woke me up at 4.30 screaming because he had done a poo, had probably done earlier in the night because his little bum was so sore bless himand then I stopped my alarm instead of snoozing!
Messed up a few bits at work but rectified them so that's good! Just looking forward to home time now so I can chill out. Car is going to MOT tomorrow so hoping that will pass!!

Evening all :hello:
Hope everyone is ok and your enjoying your hols CCL school in August, I know. They'll be knackered by Christmas  long day at work but managed some good stuff too....
Meals from stores
Packed lunch for dd and DH ready for tomorrow
DD paid us back £5.50 for a toy her and her sister wanted that we weren't prepared to buy so they went half's out of the pair pocket money. Trying to teach them the value of money from early on.
Used recyclable beeswax things for lunchboxes
Load of washing on to be done overnight
Check banking and repay some pots from other virtual pots
Paid us back money that was sent to another account to earn interest payment
Watch something with DH for an hour tonight with no other screens
Look how I can return a product that arrived faulty. Luckily it's a (shh... Christmas) present so I don't need it urgently :rotfl:
More lotions and potions to use from by my bed
Enjoy your evening folks.0 -
Morning
back to work today after 2 weeks off
Getting ready this morning was pretty easy as I did most things in prep yesterday  just need to hang out the washing, grab a jacket, do madam's hair and I'm out the door :money:
Money saving down to a minimum on work days but I have/will:
* take B/L/D & snacks - overnight oats for B, batch cooked courgette curry out of freezer and a portion of bean, chocolate & chilli soup. Frozen hg raspberries & yogurt and a boiled egg for afternoon snack(I honestly eat the most out of everyone at work!)
* hang out washing
* check onepoll if lull at work
* madam going to cm - we had enough credit in our account with her that the whole summer hols have not taken any extra cash :T have been paying £30pcm childcare vouchers :money:
* record any mileage on claim
* cut out material for madam's pe bag - found cute material in stash
Ok better go do the washing or I'll suddenly be late!DF as at 30/12/16
