You're doing amazing. Glad the birthday went well and hope there's no more bugs lingering!
Can I ask painted floor... have you painted concrete floors? If so do you mind me asking how? Sorry if that sounds stupid x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -

Yes, I have painted a concrete floor. It's worked amazingly well. Made it look much better and much easier to clean as well.
I used garage floor paint - people on here recommended it to me. It takes forever to dry (16 hrs) but it is amazing. I'm so pleased with it. It's not a stupid question, I wouldn't have known unless others told me about it. I just used a normal paint brush, but you could use a roller.
I think it was this one I used - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Johnstones-307938-Garage-Floor-Paint/dp/B00Q4V0TAU?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_12 in black. I think it was around £28 for 5l which will easily do 2 coats of my kitchen. One coat would have been ok if I hadn't walked all over it too early and left footprints all over it  :rotfl:"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
That sounds a lot cheaper than new flooring Jwil
. We had a concrete floor in our kitchen for a few years and it was horrible. I'm sure the paint must look nicer and make it easier to keep clean

Yes, much cheaper. We need to do the whole kitchen eventually so I didn't want to spend a lot. It is noticeably easier just to move the appliances like the fridge etc. You wouldn't think it!
I'm pretty much ready for Christmas thank youJust done the food shop so only the turkey to collect now. :T I finished work yesterday for 2 weeks :j:j:j:j

The kids have been swimming this morning, and whilst we were out we posted an ebay sale and popped to the supermarket to grab a couple of bits we'd forgotten.
That was a good idea, they had a load of stuff reduced to crazy cheap prices :T 15 eggs for 10p, sausages, cold meat, fresh meat, yogurts. We picked up a load of stuff for the freezer and 3 boxes of the eggs. Really pleasedI also stocked up on lots of the cheap veg too, so we had a big pile of stuff but only spent £17 :T :T :T Good job we'd been using stuff up from the freezer so we've got room for it all.
