    Thank you everyone

It's been many years since I've been this bad, I've just been in such a dark place.

I don't feel like I'm achieving anything, at home or at work :( Not in the grand scheme of things, I know that we are overall, just day to day, a whole day goes past and I have hardly done a thing. I just feel like there's constant 'noise' and no time to think about anything. I've got endless 'stuff' whirring around my head, trying to deal with it all. I need to do a brain dump and do a big 'to do' list for both home and work. It's enough I can manage just doing the basics at the moment.

I've tried to have an extra day to work at home to get away from everything and concentrate, and the day I did, I had a migraine, so didn't achieve as much as planned.

I lost 2.5 hrs yesterday having to collect little miss from nursery as she had a temp, to discover that she's absolutely fine - she refused to leave until she'd had her pudding :rotfl: . I've worked from home today, with her at home and she's not at all ill. It's no one's fault, but it's just another barrier to me getting everything done.

It feels like everything's against me at the moment and I haven't got the energy to fight it :(

DH and I had the usual argument again. I think he is going to make more of an effort now. We did sit down and talk properly and I did explain how the clutter is affecting my mental health too.

SW is going completely the wrong way. I feel better for being on plan, but have to plan and be organised and that's just not working for me at the moment. I've put on 4lb over 2 weeks, and not sure this week will be any better!

In more positive news, we went to Cornwall for the weekend and had a lovely time :) It was so nice to get away for a bit.

I've cashed out a few times on survey sites, so that's nice to have a bit extra - amazon vouchers towards little miss's birthday gift and a bit of cash.

I'm still trying though. I've taken a book out of the library - overcoming depression. This is a series of books which seem to be really good. The anxiety one was good, and this one looks to be good too. It's a CBT book and a bit of a tome, but I'm going to work my way through it. What I've read so far makes a lot of sense. Hopefully I'll get out of this hole!

Sorry for all the doom and gloom.

  • So sorry to see you are having such a tough time. Well done for all the efforts you are making and sending a hug.

HI Jwil - sorry you've been feeling rough. One of the things that helps me is watching motivational youtubes that force you to focus on what is good with your life and what's possible - rather than just the struggle

  • Sorry you've been feeling so bad Jwil. We see how productive you are, how hard you work and how much you achieve. But maybe you can't always see it as you are so close to the situation. Having a young family is hard. Working is hard. Doing all that de-cluttering and ebaying is hard. I'm constantly amazed at how much you achieve.

Give yourself a break now and again and be kind to yourself. You deserve it. xx
