Even if there’s a way to go....instead look back and see how far you’ve come. Do you have any ‘before’and ‘after’ photos to encourage you?
Hope tomorrow is better....and SW is always there in a month or two

Thanks Brizzle. I don't know what's wrong, I've been in a really black mood this week. Not so bad today so fingers crossed that's it shifting now.
I think everything's got a bit messy again at home, so it's feeling much worse than it is. I'll have a good tidy up at the weekend. I do have some photos, should dig them out, great idea!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". You should put them on the front of the fridge for ALL to see. You’re doing really well. Sometimes there’s no reason for the low mood to creep in. Thank you, yes I'm hoping it clears soon."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
1/2 lb off last night at SW which is a miracle considering how much chocolate I scoffed last week. I must take measures to ensure it doesn't all catch up with me this week.
I am so overspent on my food budget I really need to sort that out next month. I have £10 in the fuel budget and will need to use that, but that's probably not far from right. I'm about £50 over on food and still have 10 days til payday.
I was in Exeter yesterday for a meeting. Took the train to save hassle, but forgot how hilly it was! :rotfl: I had plenty of exercise and my legs are aching today. It feels good though so I should up my exercise (which would probably help with my mood!).
I sold an item yesterday, haven't posted it yet, will sort that out later. It's a bundle of books and dvds, so will clear some space.
Got a busy weekend planned, hope to get some stuff done at home too. The house feels messy again, so need to get tidied up as that doesn't help my mood either.
Decluttered a couple of books at lunchtime, going for a walk and hiding them for others to find.
Have a good weekend everyone"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Snap on the overspending on the food budget with still a third of the month left...
Also, you prompted me to find a few more things to declutter. You sold books and DVDs will help streamline your house.
Enjoy your evening. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thank youIt's nice to see stuff leaving isn't it. I'm so over with the food budget now I've stopped counting

I had an inspired burst of energy on Friday evening so managed to get all the general tidying etc done that I was behind on :T Even managed to put all the floordrobe away from ours and the kids rooms :j
Yesterday we were out to the library and in town, and then DH took the kids to soft play in the afternoon so I had a bit of peace
Today the kids had their swimming lessons and both had a bit of a breakthrough so we went back this afternoon to try and build on their progression :j I've prepped a cottage pie so that it can be put in the oven on one of my late evenings.
Friday, Saturday and today have all been completely on plan food-wise. I'm particularly proud of myself as everyone went for lunch in town yesterday and I waited and got something at home, and today we went to the supermarket on the way back from swimming, we were all starving as had been in the pool 2 hours and late for lunch, and I bought the stuff I'd planned and stayed away from the junk :T
We are having stewed rhubarb and cream this evening but I can cope with that
DH has been rummaging through some of his piles of 'stuff'. Perhaps a little will be leaving. Fingers crossed!
Hope everyone has had a good weekend"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Well done on the decluttering jwil. I need to contact a few people to sell the rest of Mr Retired's books and other specialised equipment.
On more exciting news I've been on a singles holiday to New England. It was strange without Mr Retired being with me. Another first.0 -
Wow! Look at that decluttering list. Amazing. You’re doing so well. Am also really pleased that DH is slowly but surely starting to clear stuff too.
Am glad about swimming too - progress on skills like that is never linear so it’s particularly great when something clicks and they shoot ahead..
Have a good rest of your weekend
