Think it can take a while to get used to the swimming lessons, the wee ones in my family both go and love it. One didn't like being on their back in the water but is better with that now.

Thats a pain about eb@y so hope they take responsibility in the end.

Thank you :) I hope they will both settle in more, I think they will love it when they do.

My last email from ebay said they have sent it over to the appropriate department to action a refund. Fingers crossed. All this faff over £3! I'd have let it go but they promised it!
Swimming lessons are so important so it's good that you've been able to start them both on them :).

Well done on the clutter clearing :T it sounds like DH is starting to take it more seriously. You've done so much ebaying over the years that I don't blame you for being fed up with it. I'd much rather give my clutter to the charity shop and get rid of it quickly as it stresses me out to have it all lying around.

Thank you :) I would too, especially now I've sold the stuff with any value to it and don't desperately need the cash any more. DH is still in a mindset that he needs to get back value from everything though. He's done well with shifting stuff that was not in the house, but sadly isn't touching the stuff in the house yet :( He will get there though.

Swimming is an essential life skill - great to give your kids that opportunity. .Great that your OH is selling stuff now too. Hope Ebay refund the £3.

I lost 2.5lbs last night, not bad, though I would have liked a bit more to completely get rid of my gain (and get my 2st award!)

I defrosted the freezer yesterday, decided it was looking a bit icy and did it whilst the weather was warm. I now know exactly what I've got and have used up some more stuff that's been hanging around.

This week's meal plan uses some more. However, I am -£14 in my grocery budget and it's only 13th  Shows how much I was overspending. Must try and sort that out next month.

Also hope you've got the £3 back from Ebay. I screenshot all the conversations with customer services I have now.

Great work on the kids and swimming :) they'll get more confident the more they do. You've inspired me to take mine tomorrow.... maybe. Its very overwhelming having two on my own.

Could you make it clear to mr jwil indoor stuff goes now? Or would that be too much pressure on him? I know what they're like. My hubby has gone away now so I've been sorting through and found 3 year old receipts and all sorts.

    Keep going! Xxx

Not yet  They said 3-5 business days so I'll get on to them on Monday. I've got the transcipt of the original conversation and the rest were in ebay messages, so should be ok.

I was thinking about that today, telling him to just get a storage unit. But then I wondered, what if he did that and just filled the house again! It would be like consolidating debt, not solving the problem. I think I need to continue nagging. It's a nightmare.

Thank you :) Fingers crossed he gets on with it. I'm having a strop about it again today :rotfl:

  • If you suggest a storage unit, he may see that as you endorsing him keeping it all

  • Hi Jwil

Hope you've had a great weekend.

yes storage units may encourage accumulation ;)

They certainly do here..with the exception of my lovely 'new' study where having all the work files away behind closed doors does make a real difference..
