That she's paying him to do!

He is a parent to these children, not a nanny, parents do not get paid to look after their own children, unless they're real lowlife type that is, who see a monetary value in taking responsibility for the children the bred.

But he needs a job! If he got a 'proper' job, then he wouldn't be free to care for them when the OP needs them cared for!

This arrangement kills 2 birds with one stone!

    Not really,
A/ you dont get paid to look after your own Children
B/ He should get a job and pay her the Child Maintenance that he quite rightly should be paying, plus also the back pay from being a !!!!less father and THIS money should go towards child care.
Man needs to give his moral compass a rattle it appears to be defective.

OMG it starred out Heck (but with an F) out. Whats wrong with *eck?
    OK, hes a heckless father.

Why not just employ a live in nanny/au pair? I'm sure it would be cheaper than 2.5k pm.

So the working parent needs to earn double to keep the house running and to pay the non-working parent a full time wage? What planet is this on then?
