builder by tradeseeing as we don't know the driver at the time I have not mentioned anything about working/unloading.
Quick question: Was the driver working for you on a building job there? Were they loading unloading materials, tools or people.
Second question. Is the vehicle registered to a company or you "trading as".

The keeper is a sole trader. Basically the driver works (was working) for a company that were working on 2 houses in that street. The van was registered to me personally0

Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving
You need to edit your above post to remove details of who was driving
Use the third party as in "the keeper" is this, "the driver" is that!0 -
Thanks. I've changed it but I was just trying to explain my background rather than the claims0
-
So what does anyone think of my defence? Ideally I'd like to get it sent off in the next day or two0

Can I just check, does the V5 say:The van was registered to me personally
Joe Bloggs
or
Joe Bloggs (t/a Builders R Us)
?
And you won't be posting your defence anyway, you email it to the CCBCAQ email. Just making sure your 'sending off' wasn't intended to be a paper version mailed to the CCBC for them to lose. Email is best to the CCBC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No I I'll be sending it off as instructed further up the thread.
The van is registered to "joe bloggs". There's no company involved whatsoever0 -
So what do we all think? Am i good to go?0

Seems OK to me. Make sure you have pics of the lack of signs in the location. They are likely to produce their own pics and a site map that claims they were there. You just have to be able to show they were lying mistakenThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
