Morning all. I've never posted on this kindof thread before, so be gentle with me! lol
cheerfullness4, i've got to say, don't feel bad about your ds. i am sure you steered him to office work with all the very best intentions. he's tried it and this place he is at right now obviously just doesn't suit him, it's not a major catastrophe, don't feel bad about it. it's really not your fault, things like this happen you know.
I hope you all have a good day. I will be sorting all my stuff out to get listed on ebay over the weekend. I was going to try and list it yesterday but didn't manage to because i felt a bit dizzy most of the day! (for those who know me, that will be no surprise! LOL)
Anyway, have a nice day. I have enjoyed reading all your tales. :T:j Coupon Queen:jSaved £3880 since Feb 05 stopping nicotine!!!Spent £3880 on shoes & bags since Feb 05!!!!0 -

Welcome Freetime and Liberty.
Quiet day here hopefully. Really need to go shopping but OH has my car and I resent paying for a taxi so might wait till this evening.
Need to do a bit more ironing and stick the leftover soup in the freezer. Tea will be a mixed grill (ie all the bits and bobs of meat from the freezer) and HM wedges.
Really hope the weather dries up soon as the garden needs some more attention.
Have a good day everyone
Haribo x

Hi Guys!!
Had a bad night last night and not feeling too grand this morning.
Promise to post the pics of chickens later. Their names are Bessie, Sydney, Ginger and Nigella (big breasted:D ) They are so interesting to watch. OH knows more about them than me, so will add what breed they are etc later as I dont know. I know he wanted Orpingtons but they were quite expensive.
An elderly family friend (75) who lives round the corner cooked me a whole Jerk Chicken yesterday and it was so hot:eek:      ...it was delish though and I thought ever so sweet of her. She cooks for her large family is is Jamiacan so does lovely food.
Thats enough from me ATM as Im knackered.
Hugs to all.

Well after all good intent to clean up for the double whammy OS visit tonight I contemplated my navel most of the day and got nowt doneso now I have a house to clean, ironing to do, hair to sort (and the blue takes at least 3 hours to put in;) ) a bit of shopping to do and some guests to entertain later. (no lights just candles me thinks - covers the dust nicely:rotfl: )
So tomorrow is our Brum meet which Im really looking forward to (still a chance to join us if you can cope with a dancing panda, a mouse on a mission to replace a Mr Mouse, a very over excited duck and of course a blue haired beauty (oh and me too:rotfl: ))
So I guess I had better get on - will update on the meet when the hangover dissipates:D (Weds maybe)

Good morning:D
I'm still reeling from Shez being around so early:p :rotfl: So by now you'll have done the whole house, feel free to nip across the river to start on mine;) Well done on your weight loss !(I'm really not jealous:whistle:  )
cheerfulness (((hugs))) to you. As parents we can only do our best by our children, sometimes we get it wrong. Now you'll be doing your best to help DS again, fingers crossed this works out for him. At least he knows office work is not his thing. And he must have an excellent relationship with you to feel able to cry in front of you.
anniebooklover, good to see you back:D Aaaaaw at DS. How old is he? Young love is sooo sweet.( and delightfully innocent)
Today's plan is to get the house clean and tidy from top to bottom (see you all about next Thursday then:rotfl: ) And I want to tidy the freezer, now that I've used some stuff up to make more room. I so wish I had room for a separate freezer, with my FF there's just too little room to really prepare ahead for Christmas, while still maintaining stocks for everyday. *sigh*
Aussie hasn't been around this morning. You don't think she caught the wrong ferry and is now sailing off into the sunset do you?:rotfl: :rotfl:
((((((hugs)))))) for all who'd like one.
CMxxYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Morning to you all and thanks for the welcomes!:D
I seem to be finally getting the house in some sort of order (excluding DD 16yrs whose room is soooooo messy!) The house needs a good clean, but as i am having central heating fitted on Monday, there is no point as the place will be covered with dust and mess then!
My car is in the garage , fingers crossed its not going to be too expensive, chiropody and hairdressers this afternoon!
Am digging out some lamb chops from freezer to make lamb hot pot for tea (have a packet of hot pot mix a little out of date, so using it up!)
I have sorted out my wardrobe and have put 5 bags of clothes ranging from sizes 10 to 16 up in loft! I am not getting rid of them, I intend to be back into the 12's! I am not buying any more 18s and 20s!!!!!!!
Hope you all have a good and productive day!:D0 -
Having a terrible morning. My cat has just been run over and killed. I'm absolutely deverstated. We have only had him just under 2 years. I've got to tell dd in a minute. Can't write anymore
RIP HenrySorting my life out one day at a time0
