    Hi Amie,

My b/f knows 'Shaun Slater' and he is a really lovely bloke NOTHING like his screen character - quiet, sensitive and caring - so keep dreaming girl he's worth dreaming about :rotfl:

Frogga wonders what she did wrong with her latest bread recipe. :D Couldn't resist joining in. Lovely idea, Haribo!

cheerfulness (((hugs))) to you and yours too.

Been loving the OS Hall of Fame photos. They have really made me giggle.

It was DS's birthday on Monday. As part of his birthday treats, I'm taking him to see Bill Bailey in a couple of weeks. He was made up at this but things improved even more when he told me that his "friend", Amanda, was going to the same concert on the same night. I suspect that there is a crush going on and it may even be reciprocated as she gave him a HUGE bar of chocolate for his birthday. Awwww.

DS and DD's school got such a fantastic OFSTED report and such good results that they are giving all the pupils a half-day holiday today as a treat. So, an early finish for me today. :j Will try and take DD to Toys R Us as they have a couple of bikes that she may like for Christmas - even better, they are really cheap.

An OS weekend is planned for me. Lots of batch cooking and some de-cluttering.

    Have a fantastic Friday. xx

Scuzz- I am doing a firewalk in the next few weeks, so any advice would be
    most gratefully received.

My advice would be to relax, don't worry and just really enjoy it. You'll probably have intensive training like I did, which will leave you so pumped, you'll want to walk a mile over fire! It's great and just savour every second as it's one of the most amazing feelings ever! Good luck and let us know how it goes:T

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Good Morning

Hope all is well and big ((((hugs)))) to all.

Not been around for a while but have been kept busy with Penny the puppy! We have started puppy training classes, Penny is doing well but I still have a lot to learn!:rotfl:She knows sit, stay, down and her recall is pretty good but walking to heel is impossible, mind you she is half spaniel!

I have been keeping up with DD & D's feeding family of 5 from the store cupboard and been inspired to run down my own stock of tins etc before re stocking, think I am all tuna'd out now though! (16 tins!)

We have finally found a dentist who will take us on as nhs for all the general stuff but is also private for the more complicated bits. Going this afternoon as I have probs with a bridge (dental not road!:D) that was fitted earlier this year and hurts, fingers crossed.

Before that I must walk the puppy - she is in love with a German shepherd called Reva! Bless he is so gentle with her and protects her from another dog.

    Bye for now

    Catz x

fantastic idea - middle dd feeds my johnny depp habit (I am currently wearing a JD pendant that she picked up from claires accesories for a quid!) - I will see if she thinks she can cover a gold plated version. Novembers johhny depp is a bit of a disapointment actually - he's wearing purple sun glasses .... and clothes :(

Morning everyone! Have been AWOL for a few days but back to normal now.

Day off work today so off to take mini penguin to school and then to see to my horse.

Will be back later. Bought a load of meat in bulk to freeze so will be looking for recipe ideas later.

Hugs to everyone that needs them. Will catch up properly later. x
