Actually i think you will find that it is legal for minimum wage to be subsidised by tips, which i agree it shouldnt be but it is.
The reason for this? Waiters are *expected* to get tips!0 -
Well in my personal experience, I did not EXPECT to get tips, and if I did, they were on top of my basic wage. This was a few years ago though.

Rather than collecting the vouchers, a relative subscribes to The Times and has brought me some vouchers which were sent to him, as a subscriber, to save him collecting vouchers from the newspaper. They appear to be valid for "all" promotions, not only this one, and say they can be used in place of those printed.
Has anybody used these for the Pizza Express promotion (or indeed any others?) as I don't want to take them along and make a fool of myself! LOL0 -

We got the 6 pizza and the 9 pound one. Bought a garlic bread which was lovely. 2 cokes and tap water.
