2 for 1 Pizza Express vouchers in The Times from Saturday

What's the deal?
Printed in The Times everyday this week (until Friday 9 Nov 07) is a Pizza Express voucher offering 2for1 adult main meals, excluding Fridays and Saturdays, before 29 November.

A voucher with a difference
You have to applaud this voucher; one of the reasons I gave it such prominence in the weekly e-mail is because, unusually it is the more expensive of the two dishes that is free, so if at least one person orders the cheapest item on the menu - a margherita pizza for £5.50 - you'll get both meals for that price.
Thus two can dine for as little as £6.20 (£5.50 plus the 70p for The Times) in total, provided you order a tap water accompaniment.
How to get your grub
Simply buy the newspaper for 70p, fill in the voucher details section and visit your nearest branch between Sunday and Thursday, before 29 November. Chose which main adult meal you fancy from the menu then hand over the voucher when ordering.
Ts & Cs
1. Valid until 29 Nov for dining on any day between Sunday and Thursday
2. The voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer
3. Offer excludes extra toppings
4. Not valid on take away orders
5. Photocopies of the voucher are not valid
6. One voucher per table
Martin
PS. This deal was originally spotted by MoneySaver Beate below. Thanks for the top spot! This post has been inserted to provide a researched and more detailed explanation for MoneySavers coming from the weekly e-mail.

I just saw an advert in thelondonpaper to look out for 2 for 1 Pizza Express vouchers in The Times from Saturday. Would beat the nectar points deal in terms of value!

  • Just want to let you all know that I actually bought two of the Times newspaper. Well worth it at £1.40 each paper for the '2 for 1' voucher. The voucher actual says that it is valid for dining in the restaurant. You actually pay for the cheapest meal and the voucher pays for the expensive meal.

Great find thanks to Beate for the info.

</p> Blimey, one should read the small print! I had not even noticed this vital piece of information! The Nectar vouchers pay for the cheaper of the two...

  • I am quite surprise too. When I bought the newspaper, I also expected to pay for the cheapest meal too, especially with those '2 for 1' deal that you normally get. I actually had to read the small print twice to make sure that it was true when I got home.

    *BUMP*

I know this has been mentioned in today's newspaper thread, but I just wanted to bump this thread for anyone who hadn't seen it as it's such a brilliant offer.

The voucher is in today's Times again (70p) for anyone who missed it on Sat/Sun.

The cheapest main course is only £5.50 and the dearest around £9 (don't forget, the dearest one is free - the penny didn't drop when I first read it!), so you could get a really cheap meal for two with this voucher.

Yes, the FROM Saturday made me wonder whether it would be a longer offer. Let's see how long this will be on for. They don't tell you in the paper whether they will have the same voucher again tomorrow! Then again, how many times can you actually eat there before 29 Nov? You could hold your birthday or pre-christmas party there, I suppose, invite 20 people and pay for 10, LOL.
