  • Yesterday, I too had the e-mail informing me of the refund. They took the money two weeks ago (Nov 2) and as yet I still haven't been refunded. I've sent them a polite mail informing them of this and asking what the hell they think they're up to!
  • I ordered two in seperate orders, 1 has been cancelled and the other is 'awaiting manual intervention' !!!!!! does that mean????? i have emailed them too and will phone on Monday. They also took the money from me on the 2nd. I think we have a case against them, or is that wishful thinking???

    Sorry, but no.

For a contract to be in force there must be a benefit and detriment on BOTH sides. We have not had any benefit yet, so there is no contract.

Zavvi are within their rights to cancel the order, but I do think a more sincere apology from them is expected.
  • hell, i think we should have a sincere apology from someone else, know who i've got in mind?

The person who suggested there was the remotest chance of this misprice being honoured?
    Can I help?
