Post a picture to tiny pics and link like below. Someone will be able to help you out.

I have posted pictures of the webpage and the VIN check now0 -

There are several issues around this case but I had just been asking specifically about the unauthorized use of a celebrity to promote and sell a product online. I have now posted the image of the webpage with the celebrity. T&C's just by Quentins image were not available. Who thinks its an endorsement ???
I have also posted the VIN check section. Who thinks it says it checks if the car has been cloned ???
It's not often I say this but I give up. I'm losing the will to live.0 -
Is it a personal endorsement or a quotation from the Newspaper article that would only require the permission of the the newspaper who hold the copy write?
You will have to find the article and check the wording
Quentin contacted the RAC and made them remove his image and the newspaper article0 -
You need to find if the newspaper gave permission.
The fact its has now been withdrawn does not mean they didn't have permission.0 -

Will you change the (misleading) title of the thread - your missing £17k which is hopefully more important to you than whether they used Quentins image isn't going to magically reappear based on this success0 -
So ignoring the fact they have used an old press cutting, what's happening with the car?
Was it a private sale or from a dealer?
What have the rac said?0 -
We are still no nearer to helping you. Is this a B2B transaction? Most people, myself included, buy cars off dealers and the fall-back position of the car is crooked, is back to the dealer for my money back. This is a a B2C transaction and safeguards are in place to protect me!
If I bough off jack the lad down the Crooked Millet Inn, then it is down to me and him. I could check quickly one VIN and hey presto, it passes. This is caveat emptor.
If I deal in cars and buy left right and centre, I am a trader. This is a B2B transaction and due diligence on my part comes into play.
I rather gather, this is in fact a Jack the Lad transaction carried out in the pub yard of the Crooked Millet!0 -

WHICH legal solicitors have said I cant be held to the T&Cs because they were not available to me... and that the RAC have breached the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulation 2008 by using Quentin to sell their product.
The telephone call where the agent says I can claim if the car is a clone and the vin check is to check its not a clone forms the contract. I am just a consumer who bought this product to protect themselves from stolen hpi and cloned car fraud and I followed their instructions and have been duped by thinking it was endorsed by Quentin Willson.0 -

You're repeating straws that you're clutching at rather than dealing in facts
Where/who did you buy the car from ?
How did you pay ?
What does the seller say about your complaint ?
WHICH are not your legal advisor and aren't going to stand up in court for you. If you have Legal Protection Insurance then now would be the time to use it0 -

Nope it was from the address on the log book and correct id was given by the seller as stipulated on the car passport. Its not a B2B transaction although the check is available to car dealers. Another identical stolen clone car was soled from the same address a week previously and it now appears to be part of a criminal cloning gang in North London selling £100k of stolen cloned cars a week ..... The Car Passport has had issues with other cloned cars and I am not the only person to have this problem.0
