Cue more bluster and distraction from the remainer camp.
    :D
  • An interesting report suggests why the EU's ever closer union is doomed to failure.
Europe is a mixed and mingled continent, so maintaining borders that reflect where people feel they belong has never been easy.

Trump would have delivered a better deal if in charge of the UK.

    Just saying...like ;)

It's funny how our media despise him and his ability to negotiate a trade arrangement with Juncker in short order.

Has Britain access to the USA ESTA security system including its passenger name recognition.

    Answer NO.

So why be upset if Britain gets the same treatment from the EU.

Cherry picking and cake and eat it come to mind.
Why do you think that Britain should be given any special privaliges.

You wanted Brexit, are you are beginning to regret it.

You get a deal, don’t read it and reject it.

Barnier has not said it but I am sure he thinks

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE.

I'm not upset....... I predicted this ages ago and agree with you. Both cakeism, and the belief that the EU is a conspiracy designed to do Britain down, are so deeply embedded in the worldview of the headbangers, that it is impossible to shift. It seems the lunatic fringe can't get enough letters together to unseat the leader of their own party.....why on earth should they have any influence over the rest of us. I have nada in common with such types.

Off to Poland and Hungary in a few weeks, so I shall make sure I try and get a feel of what people on the ground are saying.

You never know, there might be some kind of 'love in' with Juncker & pals.

    You forgot "Far Right".

And you're right, it's proving impossible to shift. The liberals have had their day.

Chinese don't seem to be afraid of Trump. In effect saying bring a trade war on, as protectionism doesn't work in the longer term. Regarding Trump's whole approach as short sighted and doomed to failure. When playing poker, bluffing is an art. Which the Chinese are masters of.

Without the help of USA and European money over the last few decades, the Chinese economy would be nowhere.

I see that China believes they have overcome the hurdles with quantum radar, tracking stealth.

If it's true, I expect more counter response, in terms of greater research into hyper sonic delivery platforms.

According to the most recent reports (if true of course) the USA (with BAE, Boeing & the Aussies) are already well ahead in the research into hypersonic delivery platforms and already said this year that they are increasing testing.

As for China's Quantum Radar well experience suggests that what one "side" invent, the other "side" will either (ahem) copy or develop new means to circumvent.
Look at Russia's fear over their hypersonic delivery system being compromised earlier this year as an example.
That goes for all parties BTW.

Nobody is talking about the deep relationship between a large tech company (makes cheap phones...best not name) and China.

Why is this important? Well...the development of 5G and the spying potential makes it very important indeed.
