The Brexit thing reminds me of the American cult religions. "If you leave we will cut off all ties with you." Makes you want the leave date to come round faster so that we can get out of the cult of the EU before the next EU cult leader comes along and wants even more unelected control of Europe.

Are you suggesting that they promote right wing ideas? Their agenda is pretty clear if you spend any time on their websites.

So anything not right is automatically "extreme" left? Wow.

And with thanks to the BBC for making the Brexit marchers look like complete idiots by interviewing someone who didn't realise that the people making the rules in Brussels are not elected. They said that they wanted more democracy not realising that by remaining in the EU they would get less. I expect they just wanted a nice walk in London? I wonder if they will go back and walk again next week?
  • So latest estimates are that 700,000 people turned out at today's march for a second referendum.

Governments don't always listen to the people, even when they turn out in the biggest numbers in a decade or more to protest - but what should be worrying the Conservatives is that marches of that size do tend to be on the right side of history...

700,000 entitled snowflakes doesn't look good for any future of the UK. It said mainly young people. Only entitled people think that they know better than the rest of us.

The 17.4m who voted for Brexit don't need to march. If we believe the organisers exaggerated numbers, they are still outnumbered 25 to one by those who disagree with them.

Nope but looking at it from the other end of the telescope, the left consider the likes of Blair to be right wing and there are some on here who try to portray the government as far right when it is anything but. Sauce for the goose.

The Courts ruled that the leave campaign did nothing wrong. They approached the Electoral Commission to ask if what they proposed to do was permissible and the Commission said that it was. The court ruled that the fault lay with the Commission who misinterpreted their own rules. Had they advised correctly, the phony argument that the leave campaign had somehow acted illegally would never have seen daylight.

You really need to keep up and find something else to amuse you.

They should also consider the then-government-funded £9 million spent sending a "please stay" leaflet to every UK property which was not declared in Team Remain's costs.
Strangely enough, whenever this comes up remainers conveniently ignore it.

I think all the Brexit angst is hiding something nefarious going on in the background. Look... over there!

It is just totally mad that the mighty UK would scupper everything for the sake of socking it to the EU. Without a plan or a roadmap or anything positive for the citizens of UK. Sorry, forgot.... stock up, prep like mad, get your drugs sorted. Honestly.

They are hobbling around like headless chickens with no answers to any questions as to the benefits of us leaving. None whatsoever.

Ah well, I suppose the EU will be blamed ad infinitum anyway, it is the go to excuse for Tory/May ineptitude.

    I'm not buying that.

What I just can't get my mind round is how so many people think that they are so special that they are entitled to special arrangements to be made for them if a vote goes against what they want. Where are all these entitled people coming from? It said that the march was mainly young people which means that we now have some very entitled young people who don't think that the opinions of people of their age or any other age have the right to an opinion that differs from theirs. Where on earth is this attitude coming from? It is really horrible to think that these people think that they are more entitled to get what they want than the people who voted Leave. If you think like this you don't regard people whose opinion differs from yours as having any Rights. Basically you are so special that it is only one step from this to believing that you are chosen to make everyone else "see" the truth.

Freedom of speech also includes freedom of different opinions this march doesn't include this because anyone who voted Leave has clearly got it wrong otherwise what are they protesting about?
At the moment 700,000 unelected people are trying to destroy democracy while trying to claim that they are in favour of it?
