Post still affected by strike?

Things are far from being back to normal. I'm waiting for several parcels sent over 3 weeks ago (from established and reputable suppliers), and we don't seem to be getting any "normal" post at all neither local or national - for the past three weeks, all we've been getting is one or two "junk" mail items. The local office tell me things are back to normal and are telling me that the sender's are all lying! - now one or two I can believe, but we're waiting for a few dozen letters and parcels now mostly from people who regularly send us things on time. It's really starting to hurt my business as people don't believe me when I say I've not got their post!0

Post delivery still not arrived today. Was 9am before the strike, now it's 12.50 and still no sign. Maybe they are at last clearing the backlog!Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

The Royal Mail was last night accused of hoarding thousands of parcels as a way of masking the real effect of the post strike.
Evidence has been uncovered that parcels and other items of mail which should have been delivered when the strikes came to an end two weeks ago have instead been stored in a warehouse in north London.
It is claimed that the parcels were collected from depots around London and the south-east and taken to the warehouse in Barnet. The Royal Mail last night admitted it had opened the warehouse facility in order to cope with the strike.
Royal Mail managers said they have not fully cleared the backlog of 120 million items created by the stoppages and it is thought there are still around 25 million items stuck in the system.

Worth keeping the link to this article to any buyers that are still waiting, along with the link from the Royal Mail website - http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/content1?catId=1000002&mediaId=51600692October 30th Update
There is no strike action currently taking place, and we are making good progress getting our services back to normal as quickly as possible. There is a build-up of mail that will take some time to clear, which we are clearing in the order in which it was received, although different types of mail are being cleared at different rates.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

I'm still waiting for something that was posted on 11th October.
The seller is a lovely lady and appears genuinely upset that I haven't got it yet. As she's being so nice, I've said I'll wait longer to see if it arrives, before asking for a refund. Here I go again on my own....0 -
i have posted goods on the 3rd and 13th they are only just starting to arrive to my customers, but hundreds are emailing me to ask where they are and don't beleive I have posted them. its a nightmare.......

No that's more likely to be the new regular delivery times - part of the reason for the strike in the first place was that postmen were being asked to start work later in the day and thus finish later. Presumably there was some form of unsocial hours allowance they'll no longer get - and those with a second job later in the day would have to give it up.0 -
I posted a lot of mail out on the 15th & 17th and am only just starting to get reports of it arriving, though some appear to be still waiting judging by emails received today.
Mail sent more recently has been arriving within a couple of days, though some has taken up to a week. Am getting fed up of responding to email enquiries though am managing to remain polite in them dispite getting a nuetral for slow delivery on amazon today due to this!Do You Twitter?

I'm beginning to think that we will never see some items that I know were posted as long ago as end of Sept. We have had no more mail than usual, and although I thought more recent stuff was getting through, I haven't had a 1st class signed for packet sent on 18th Oct (items from same, trustworthy, sender sent on 15th Oct and 24th Oct got here within a couple of days).
Oddly, our mail gets here mid/late morning exactly as it did before the late starts were introduced.0
