I've been to water what remains at the allotment, and the washing machine is twirling. I need to make a list of things to do before I take DD to meet her friend later this morning. Then a further list of things to do before I have to go and get her again.
I also have to stop being so grumpy with everyone and everything.0 -
Washed the dishes this morning, il put some bleach in the bog at lunchtime, iv got a dark wash ready to go on, I picked up the calippo wrapper my dog ripped to shreds in the living room and hopefully tonight I will get some actual jobs done. :rotfl: Oh I also got the George foreman out so I can have a cheese and red onion toadtie at lunch as right fancy it0

Mad half hour
Done 2 loads of washing which is now out hanging. Have also packed up 3 small boxes of ornaments and nic naks from DS1's room which he decided a few months ago were too 'childish' for his room but he did not want to get rid off. Now there is room in the loft up they go. Loads of paperwork to sort out and then we should be straight again

Couldn't sleep last night. Gave up at around 2.30am and came downstairs, only to find the Grumpy Fluffy Cat standing in the middle of the windowbox yelling at me. So I opened the door, asked her how the flip she found herself out there when she is resolutely an Indoor Cat and then spent the next three hours with her deciding that grumpy and fluffy is not as appropriate a reaction - ridiculously affectionate, adoring and fluffy was. Eventually, she calmed down and went to sleep at my feet (purely coincidentally right in front of the fan).
Can't work out whether she nipped out a window downstairs just before they were locked when they're kept too narrow to let a moggie's head out, fell out of the upstairs window and floated down on her fluffy pantaloons (they're almost shut to avoid letting in too much hot air) or she got herself locked out the back garden and decided to spend four hours learning to climb things for the first time in her life. They were both in the house when I went to bed, as they had been shouting at me for more food.
In any case, I finally fell asleep after 5 and woke up at about half eleven. Got up and was really struck by how much extra light is let into the kitchen/perception of greater space by having the window cleared.
So I'm going to bottom the lower cupboard and work out where would be better to put the jars of less used ingredients.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Bleach it. Possibly replace the caulk if it's ingrained in that. And make sure it's dried frequently/the extraction fan is on after I leave the bathroom.
I have rescrubbed the countertop, having cleared all the gibble off it. It was foul where *somebody* has casually wiped around rather than moved the gibble.
Delivery came bang on time, so portioned up almost everything until the freezer bags ran out. Muttered about an entire massive packet of mince I found at the bottom of the freezer where he'd bought it but not portioned it up first, so there's enough there for about five meals that will have to be cooked as one.
Still too hot, so will wipe things and put them in more intelligent places in a bit, send Himself out (or even go myself) round the corner to get some cleaning materials as I've run out.
Eight legged tenant is cross with me since I scared her yesterday. She's running away every time she sees me. If she wants to get her own back, all she'd have to do is run towards me and I'd be a thousand times more scared than her.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
I'm melllllltiiiiinnnnnngggggg.
Emptied the bottom cupboard. So, so much crud in there. Surprisingly, not much in the way of pestilence (one deaded moth - which means we have no pasta as I am not fannying about searching packets for the beggars). Unless you count the severe infestation of tupperware lids and non matching containers [and - fling!].
HImself has offered to scrub it out (like I was going to do it!) And says he's going to do the floors afterwards. Fine. I'm not budging until I have to chuck some noodles and frozen veg into the chicken stock that's bubbling away on the hob - first cooking is chicken noodle soup. That should be good for hot weather, and certainly better than his current Haribo-and-an-ice-cream-a-day Diet.
I haven't brought to his attention that there are two small floor cupboards, a spice cupboard and the pet cupboard to bottom out as well. And three drawers. And the medicine cupboard. And the tops of the wall cupboards. And the cupboard under the sink. And the gap under the oven.
After that, there's the cupboard under the stairs, which is only accessed by shrinking down as per Alice to enter through a tiny door. I'll have to get my stripey socks out for that one - and it is not happening whilst it is this hot.
I should have saved up for an external company deep clean like I wanted to - but he's not going away as I expected, so there wouldn't have been a chance to get them in.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

I put bleach on damp cotton wool and leave for a while.
All sofa throws washed and dried outside. They haven’t been done since before dancepops was in hospital in March.
School finished today. DS2 threw the remote when he got home announcing he was going to be bored for the whole holidays.
I need to sorts out packing over the weekend as we are having our holiday early this year. (Seemed a good idea when I booked). Hope I don’t get a call to come back.0
