Can't believe it's the end of another month already!

    Unsecured Debts currently look like:

    Barclaycard.................£8727.32
    Hitachi .......................£9373.32
    MBNA..........................£3518.42
    Dad............................£900
    Aqua...........................£1080
    Total unsecured debts..........£23,599.06

I haven't paid off quite as much as I wanted to in March. We've spent a bit this month (mainly much needed clothes for everyone and a present to put away for DC3 - a bargain reduced from £170 to £50). I probably could pay off another £100 to reach my target, but don't want to leave ourselves short for April. I need to update my spreadsheet (can't figure it out on the iPad so need to get the laptop out) but so far April's budget is looking good.

    Hello!

That reminded me that I haven’t worked out how I am going to fund the purchase of new spring/summer clothes for my daughter and I.

Very wise not to leave yourself short and good news that April’s budget is looking OK!

Oops...I've been awol for longer than I realised!

In the interest of full disclosure I have to confess that our debt has temporarily increased, mainly due to DH changing his car (again ).

    Current totals are:

    Hitachi - £8,969.72
    Barclaycard - £6,259.55
    FD - £7,500.00
    MBNA - £3,418.42

    Total = £26,147.69

However the old car should sell for around £4,000, which will clear the MBNA debt and put us back on track. In the meantime, I need to keep focused on the little things - meal plans, shoppings lists, listing items for sale etc.

DH has been in his job for a few months now and it's a huge weight off my shoulders having his regular income, knowing the bills will be met, and even managing a few family days out. He also regularly comes home with random (but often useful and much appreciated) freebies. Most recently there's been travel mugs, a cake stand, and a full pan set :).

I wish I knew!! But in his defence we've already had offers on the old car for more than he paid for the new one.
