    Morning all

Come on - own up - who's stolen my motivation? Or did I pack it by mistake???

Scuzz - Well done on the firewalking - not sure I'd go that far for soft feet though. As for the bloke situation - I'd leave it - if it's meant to be then he'll be in touch.......life's far to short, get out there and enjoy yourself.

Right - can anyone help me with a problem with DH's shirts - he's got a couple of really heavy weight cotton shirts that have almost hard patches under the arms where the deo seems to have reacted with the fabric - I've tried soaking, hot washing, scrubbing but that just wears out the fabric - is there an easier solution to getting rid of these????

Plans today include a clearing out and packing the larder, clearing out and cleaning the fridge, making a beef stew in the SC with dumplings and doing a bit of ironing.

Hugs to all the poorly ones.

    Have a great day all.

    Morning folks,

Scuzz Go you on the firewalking. We were on archerfish at the same time this morn (I saw you win the PTC:) )

I am *trying* to do my shopping, but Tesco have not put any offers up, not for the last 3 days.

Have a pile of washing to do, but its all covered in paint, grout etc from the weekend, so am not 100% sure how to wash it. Was going to soak it in cold water/soda crystals, but tried that last night with some tea towels (which just had normal dirt on them) and it did nothing!

I'm also *trying* to find a new duvet cover(s) for our bed, but its almost impossible to find one thats country, but not too chintzy and not a pain in the bum to iron.

Oh, the dramas of my life :)

    Have a good one

  • morning!! :hello:

I promise to behave today Pink. :o;)

Pooky....I definitely don't have your motivation. ;) Sorry I don't have a clue about the shirt.

Taplady and JackieO....You have been added to the Hall of fame. ;)

Moliere....DH will be much more help to his Dad after the funeral but it must be upsetting for him to miss it.

Aussie....Cat traps indeed. Time you went on my ignore list I think. ;):p:D (I've been looking for an excuse for ages) :rotfl:

    Snowy....Keep posting. ;)

    Well done Frogga!!

Well I'm pooped after being unable to go to bed last night for fear of being attacked by a giant spider. (long story) :o By the time I did get upstairs I couldn't get into bed cos OH was doing a fine re-enactment of the crucifixion and had spread eagled accross the bed. The spare room was freezing so I slept in the bottom bunk with Dtwin2. Not much sleep there either cos she was so delighted at this unexpected turn of events that she held me in a vice like grip all night. Woke at 7 thinking I'd slept in and sat straight up and crowned myself on the top bunk. So sore head now. :o

Really stormy here and OH has driven to Edinburgh in my car as his is still being fixed so hopefully I won't have to go out any further than the bus stop.

Tea is (lightly chargrilled) pumpkin soup. ;):o
Ironing will be finished later hoefully and I want to make a start on the gingham lavender hearts I'm making for the girls for Christmas.

    Take care all

    Haribo x

Well I am clearing the house up from the after effects of Halloween - we had a few visitors (all local and all very cute) but somehow my house seemed to become the meeting point for the adults so my wine supplies have been significantly depleted  Was lots of fun though  Need to clean up nicely for a a couple of OS visitors tomorrow night stopping off on the way to the Brum meet and tonight I am cooking for my best mates hubby - shes gone away with her DD whilst they have some work done in the house and i think its really got him down so im doing a couple of currys.

Right so with all of that ^^^ in mind Id best get on
    Lots of hugs all
    Nels xx

You are talking about this daily aren't you??:D Welcome.

Haribo I hope you catch the itsy bitsy spider before bed tonight. It's probably busy giving birth to lots of baby spiders as you type. :D

Moiliere I'm sorry to read that the arrangements aren't really suitable. I think a funeral is part of the grieving process so I'm sorry your DH can't go through this. Hugs to you & your family.

Well I'm off to watch a good telly show. It's about the 10 pound Poms. :D
    Byeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
