Donny-gal - You get a Bank Holiday for All Saints Day? Where are you? Is this something that my employers are keeping secret from me? Good luck with the knee x-ray - as a knee sufferer I can sympathise with you on problems in that department. You know that ad where the woman slips in the water at work - well I feel that landing every time I see it !
But wouldn't you think that with all that compensation, she could afford a decent haircut - that fringe is scary
Oh dear, think I must have my spiteful hat on this morningYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
charliesmum... Mmmmmm now ive given this a lot of thought..... so ive decided that i will take the sweets of your hands and dispose of them for you !!!!!!!! lol ive had a nibble of chocolate this morning !!!!!!!!
Amie, you are a true friend, fancy volunteering to take the problem literally out of my hands
You've had chocolate already today  It's only 8.30 :rotfl:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Good morning everyone,
Snowy - i always post drivel, not much happens here either but never mind, it gets me through the day!!!
Frogga - well done, that is excellent!!!
scuzz - cant offer any advice, not with my past history but seems like you are doing the right thing at the moment - well done with the fire walking too, would love to try that!!
Jackieo - glad you are feeling well enough to start your knitting again, hope you continue to improve xx
PP - HUGS, hope you will be feeling better soon xx - did you decide what to call the chickens?
moiliere - shame they have arranged the funeral so quickly, but like you said, just as, if not more important to be there for the next week or so for his dad xx
Pink, hope you will be feeling better soon xx Im sure your DD will have a lovely time with her friends!!
((HUGS)) to anyone i have missed out or who wants/needs one xxx
Have 3 here today, and one is a little boy i dont normally look after anymore because he has started school, and his parents are teachers, so i didnt have him in the holidays, however for some reason we have a different half term in Cornwall to Plymouth, so his mum has to work and needs some childcare, so i am really looking forward to seeing him again, and finding out all about how he likes school etc.
Apart from that, nothing much happening here!!
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Ruby No but I'm going on the car ferry tomorrow.
Well all you cat lovers please don't read anymore of this post.Snowy, that means you. I love all natural wildlife as you know and we have wood ducks, curlews, plovers etc here that have lot's of babies. Lately there have been ferral cats and some people leave and then leave their cats here. They've been killing off all the babies.
Soooooooo I rang up the council this arv as I noticed another 2 duckies had disappeared. The council is coming over tomorrow with some cat traps to get em. :T
JackieO Lovely for you to pop in. I'm glad to hear you're getting a better sleep.
Well off to sort out some tea. ByeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

I think I might go and put a rice pudding on in the slow cooker this morning If I leave it on all day it will be lovely by the time I get back from the hospital and if I make it with the special protein milk that I have to drink three times a day it will take care of my protein intake for today and tommorow. Two birds with one stone .
I get this stuff on prescription as it is supposed to build new cells up, and the flavoured stuff is o.k. but the 'natural' flavour is a bit like drinking sterilised milk and a bit sweet.
You're supposed to be able to add it to soups and stews but its far too sweet for me, and it makes soups taste decidedly odd.
Still as long as it does me good, and makes me well thats the main thing.
Hi JackieO
That sounds like the same stuff Im taking. The Mocha flavour is nice and tastes like a milky coffee warmed up in the MW. I add the natural to puddings, coffee, milkshake powder, soups etc etc.

Morning all
I had a lo whinging in my ear so I've forgotten what I've written, so (((hugs))) if you need one. Thanks for all the good wishes both on here and facebook.
I think today is going to be a long day. DD is on one and I'm basically still off my feet. WM is on, DW unloaded and cat is fed. Think it will be pork chops for tea. ~Other plans include ironing which is easy as it doesnt involve bending down!
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
