Have a lovely time, Valli.
Much to my surprise I think I'm going to have a go at painting the walls in the back yard. Now.Better is good enough.0 -
I love the 'video' Valli - which one is you? Or are you behind the camera?
Round 1 completed - there were 9 plastic bottles and 25 cans. Gone now
I've also: taken clothes from the airer and put away clothes and airer; recycled cardboard bits; put out rubbish; sploshed bleach down the loo; filled a bowl full of pots to soak and .... put the poinsettias in to the brown bin :T I feel a bit mean as they're still trying valiantly to survive - but that's just me being soft!!!
Checked the weather forecast and there's a chance of rain on 1st August .... otherwise just different shades of hot for the next two weeks. I will survive. I will. PMA
Round 2=
1. Hang out washing/ set WM x 2nd load swirling
2. WUDUPA bowl of pots
3. Eat.
Thank you to whoever flung some spoons in my direction - gratefully received

I'm on the right hand side not doing much. I join just before the vertically challenged person. In my defence I felt unwell and I didn't know the song, never having seen the film!
Colourful? Me? Oh dear...

Oooh have PMd you atb. Love Peter James thrillers.
Sorting out paperwork and finances this morning. Both boys out last night, one very drunk, one a bit tipsy and giddy. Cue them play fighting and giggling on the landing at about 1am and Mum giving them the stern word.
WM on again, really should try and clean some windows today.0 -
Awake and willing my bladder to hold on for long enough for Himself to stop snoring (as I have been for an hour) . If that happens it means he's waking up by himself, rather than the tetchy 'well I know you got up because you woke me up on your way out and your way back in to bed'.
.
.
Stuff it. My bladder says I'm getting up regardless.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Dizzy very jealous. Unfortunately we’re renting for the forseeable future or dog sitting would be great for me.
Roundtoit Conserve spoons. I have a feeling I’m going to be running on empty by 5 o’clock but I don’t have to get up for work tomorrow. At least only to get as far as the study:rotfl:
HoneyBear I’d lie down until the feeling went away:D
I’m feeling slightly smug. I managed a 5k yesterday. I think my first run since this time last year. That job has a lot to answer for - still got 2 stone to lose. Grrrrrr.
Then we went out to a lovely BBQ and I met my first people in Truro - other than gym staff etc.. (I’ve only been here 3 1/2 months!)
I gave up at about 9.30pm. DH rolled in at about 3am although in a much better state than the night before. :rotfl: I think I have made my first friends, and even better they are within a 10min walk. Something I have never had before.
I’m not doing too badly with the flying. If DH ever vacates the bed I’ll change that, and I can’t finish off the bathroom until he’s showered so I’m going to sit down with a cuppa.[/COLOR]

Colourful? Me? Oh dear....
And GLITTER!!!!!! ALL the glitter.. and rainbow eyeshadow and nails is the way forward..
and OMG... how slinky are you!!!! You look amazing.. I remember the pic by the river on a school trip several years ago .. but you look fabulous.. you best be blooming proud of yourself!! How much have you lost now? I knew you'd lost a fair bit but.. WOW!!! Amazing!!
Front room kind of tidied/cleared. DD2's bf moved in for a couple of weeks.. his 'friends' just broke up and kicked him out so he had nowhere else to go.. so I have him.. he is a teacher in a behavioural unit so he fits in quite nicely lol.. but that means I now have 12 people here.. my middle room is a bedroom now and I have way more stuff than I can EVER house and I need to do an epic flinging session. The car is full of stuff to go already.
I have just decided I am going to rehome one of the 'spare' pushchairs.. and I need to wash the main one as it is filthy. so thats for today.
I also will list 10 items on ebeast
1 binbag of rubbish filled and lots put away so I have visible floor in here.. and 1.5 sofas available for bottoms!
The solder has broken on my lamp.. the bit where the bulb sits.. I love the lamp but rarely use it.. do I have permission to bin it? can I set it free or should I keep it with the aim of getting it fixed and never seeing it happen?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
thanks Piggers. I think I look like a bloater but there you go. Wirdly I also think I look like me sister (the one still with us) in the video and I so don't really look like her; we have had our relationship disputed before now on the grounds that we don't look alike!
There will be no glitter or rainbow eyeshadow but I do have flowery trousers on...

Valli - I watched the 'video' againThe next time I hear a whispered 'Don't put it down, put it away' or 'woot woot' I'll know what the flylady on my shoulder looks like
Hope you have a lovely time at Pride.
Round 2 completed + filled the bowl with the next lot of pots.
Round 3 =
1. Hang out 2nd load of washing
2. WUDUPA bowl of pots
3. Change Sweetie's seed and water
If there's any line left I'll set the next load swishing.

WM on. The washload Himself put on yesterday wasn't the one I had carefully sorted as most needed, so there's this one and then one, possibly two, more before it's all done.
Lots of moths in the kitchen were disturbed - so, along with assistance from my 8 legged lodgers, I impressed the felines with a brief period of massacre. I can't see anything in the kitchen that's open (dried fruit, flour, sugar, etc), but there must be something somewhere. Himself has been informed that the cupboard is being emptied this week and anything not sealed/in a glass jar is being luzzed before my lodgers get gently relocated outside. I am not happy about starting the day with killing things (I get annoyed by his insistence upon using the vile stuff that is fly spray as it is), but needs must.
Tried to redress the balance by getting the hosepipe out and giving the windowboxes a good soak before everything dies - even the Geraniums were looking less than happy (possibly because I've asked him to water them every other day since I had my fall, but he's only done it once with nowhere near enough water). It's now been left on out the back whilst I drink my tea, so that the mini pond can fill up for the birds, etc, and the ferns don't completely die. No hosepipe ban here, I'm not keen on using it at all - but nearly everything is dead and so crispy, it would only take a spark from the scaffolders over the back to send the whole garden (and shed) up.
I did tell him last night that the kitchen needs a good scrub along with the floors, and the insides of the windows need doing. If he's not up by midday, I will be rage dumping everything on the counter into a bin bag and hang his delicate sensitivities.
************
Just out of interest, anybody - what on earth is in Root Beer? Himself offered me a glass of it last night as he'd found it in the corner shop and I couldn't drink it because it smelled more like some sort of liniment my Granddad used to use (just as likely something horse related, but it was just impossible to willingly taste something that smelled like my Granddad's cuddles).I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
