I did this
Brilliant, love it :T:rotfl::T:rotfl::T:rotfl::T:rotfl::T
I spent all day yesterday at an excellent conference in the big cityand most of the evening at choir practice, then couldn't sleep last night because I ached all over, so I am very tired today. I have, however, managed to clean through downstairs so that it looks OK superficially (just don't check the windows or bookshelves), and I have sorted my college papers and binned loads. Everything that's left is now in one filing cabinet drawer, and I fully intend to cut that down to about 3 folders by the end of the year.
The shredder needs emptying into the compost bin!
I am on my 3rd load of washing and still need to do the bedspread from the study bedroom - when I have cleared the last few piles of papers and things to be done off it.
then I want to dust and hoover the 2 bedrooms before I take a break for zzz. DH is working on the heritage railway so Rosie and I are enjoying the peace, and the fact that it's not too hot today.
Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend or achieving whatever they had planned to do (((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round xx0 -
Kaz I hope you can get your new fridge/freezer delivered and running on schedule; that's lucky you're able to shove some stuff in your neighbour's freezer. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Thats fantastic Valli.. definitely something for them all to remember you by!! xx
Swimming run done.. migraine came with us.. I can't eat in case I am sick but the pain is tolerable with 4 co-codamol.. my face still feels funky but the actual pain is reduced.
Twinkle snoozing in the pushchair.. OH on a split so he won't be home until after bed time.. Tuesday and Wednesday he is on 4-close so I have a looooong list of jpbs for him.
Moomin has a new phone.. and is refusing to give cf her new number.. she is nearly 16 I will not force her! She has trundled off to the Pride celebrations.. along with DD2 and DD3.. they are all rainbowed and gone.. I love how accepting the younger generation are of each others differences.. they are an example to the older generations.. (and cf.. lol.. he said if any of our children were not 'straight' he would beat them to death.. he's so lovely.) So long as our children are happy I don't care the gender of the person they love... so long as they are loved in return.
On with the laundry juggle and I need a cuppa and some food.. I've had an apple all day and I am ravenous!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
ooh.. Squeaks new PE bag has arrived.. she was getting teased a bit for having the Peppa Pig bag she has had since nursery so she has a new Emoji one.. plus her shoes were getting too big to fit in the Peppa bag
And I have a new mattress for Pixie.. Squeaks went on her bed yesterday. Next I need a firm one for Boog.. the one currently on his bed has pokey springs and the cat is scared of them.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I took the children out to the library earlier, made them (and me) an early lunch and we have all decluttered a nap
It is the first day in a very very long time that we haven't had to be somewhere to do something, and I feel wiped out.
I am showered and wearing fresh PJs, they are watching a film. I don't feel too guilty for not being in super mum mode, tomorrow is a new day and they are in my charge for the next 6 weeks.
Have lovely evenings all xxMFW

atb.. that sounds like supermum mode to me.. Bless you Piggers. I always feel in some way that I'm no quite good enough; that I allow them too much screen time, they aren't as outdoorsy as a lot of kids, that we can't afford to go out to soft play all the time etc etc. I need to remember my best is good enoughMFW

!!!!!! I didn’t get half the stuff done I wanted too! Whilst I was out with the dogs I left vinegar on the grouting but it hasn’t made much difference even with a toothbrush scrub – any ideas, hints tips?
I paint mine with bleach.. leave it until I canbe bothered and then mop the walls.. I love the dettol mould and mildew remover too.. works a treat.. just don't squirt it in your eye because it stings a bit!atypicalblonde wrote: »Bless you Piggers. I NEVER do soft play or swimming or anything mainly because I hate those places but also I cannot manage Dot as well as the other 3. We slob about in the garden or in the house.. we eat lollies at breakfast and dye our hair with those coloured hair sprays and hair chalks. We 'paint' with buckets of water and a paint brush and on grotty days mine chalk on the slate kitchen floor..
There are millions of little things we see as 'please stop talking' moments but in fact those are the things they remember.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Fab, Valli, really fab.
Turned out all the cupboard under and over the utility and kitchen sinks, turfed out stuff we're never going to use, sorted and tidied stuff that is useful and created loads of space. They've need doing for a week or three. Or maybe a bit longer ....
One load of smelly dog blankets run through the WM and pegged out.Better is good enough.0
