Hi all,Have had a few rubbish weeks. Had a bad allergic reaction to something. Then I had an allergic reaction to the steroid cream I was given. Made me feel absolutely awful and my skin was peeling off my face. Slept for days on end and still hasn't cleared up but feeling better at least. It's even more annoying because I have no idea what caused it in the first place.DS also was in panic mode as soon as mock exams were being mentioned more. The same thing every time, his anxiety hits the roof and his mood plummeted and he was ready to walk out. Ended up having an appointment with his head of year, which was truly horrible. I have attended many meetings over the last couple of years regarding DS and never has anyone ever spoken to us like that. I get the whole cruel to be kind thing but he was just nasty and made us both cry that day 😔.My workplace has now sold so I will only be employed there for a couple more months, haven't really had the energy to look into what jobs are around but will do now I'm feeling a bit better. Will be so odd not to work there anymore, been there since I was at school 🙈.Have had a few visitors in the garden, which has been lovely and enjoyed a quiet Easter weekend. Hopefully going to see my sister next week, haven't seen her in such a long time. Booked a day out for DS's birthday as things will be open then, nice to have something to look forward to and my sister booked it through her work to get us a discount 😁 so got £30 off.Hope everyone is well.SPC 0762

Sorry you've had a rubbish time lately. Good that you've got some positives to look forward to. Focus on the positives and keep your chin up.3

agree 100% with what welshkitty says. a change will be good although difficult. if you need to get onto any benefits do that as a priority it may take ages to come through but the only start counting from when you applyI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Thank you all 😊Still not been feeling right lately, have the doctor ringing tomorrow. Feel totally wiped out.Had a nice time catching up with some family and friends over the holidays. Had a lovely day at my brothers last week for his birthday, food, drink, good company and weather, perfect. Also was busy at work for a few days as the BBC were filming in the village and the actors were staying there, as they class as keyworkers. Was nice to have it busy again, even if only for a short time.DD was happy to get back into school today, seemed like they were off a lot longer than 2 weeks. Dropped DS off into sixth form today for his mock exam, he seemed reasonably calm but I know he didn't sleep well, sure he will do okay. Paid for his bus pass for the term so hopefully he can pick that up today and can catch the bus back, or will go get him.Had to stop and pick up some return forms from my SIL this morning as our printer has broken and had a parcel to send back. She said she's had a very restless night with lots of niggly pains, she is at the midwife now so waiting to hear about that.Another beautiful day, going to get out in the garden for a while before pick up. Hope everyone is well.SPC 0764

Thanks jwil. Got to go for blood tests next week. Also had my text to book my 2nd vaccination, so that's booked in for next week too.Just spent over an hour with DS putting together a computer chair, lots of the reviews said it was fiddly to put together, they were not wrong. Done now though and he's happy with it. It is a birthday present but gave it him early as really want my dining room chair back 😆 He got through his first mock, next one Thursday.Still no baby, my brother is coming home every evening now though instead of staying away and I am on stand by to look after my nephew when the time comes. Picked up his car seat yesterday so need to figure out how to get that buckled in properly.I have messaged my old slimming world consultant today, thinking of joining their online thing. I lost over 2 stone when I did it but the groups stressed me out, no groups at the moment though but still the support and she is a very good consultant. Will see what she says. Keep saying I'm going to sort my weight out but never seem to get around to doing it 🤷♀️.SPC 0762

First week of mocks done. Even more stressful as the one day we got there within minutes of it starting as it took over an hour for a 20 minute journey because of road closures. Then yesterday we arrived to find out he was 3 hours late 🙈 mix up with timetables but thankfully he still got to go in and take the test. After I dropped him off I popped into town to get some much needed new pants and socks for me and some new school tights for DD.Have been in work most days this week as sale has gone through very quick and next week will be closed, so Tuesday is my last day 😔 will be getting redundancy pay, unsure how much though. Ordered them a retirement gift which should be arriving on Monday.Have signed up for a 6 week countdown with SW, see how I get on this time. I am the heaviest I have ever been and need to lose 2-3 stone and maintain it this time, not put it all back on again 🙈.Weather has been wonderful this week. Woke up very bunged up and headachy this morning though so haven't done much other than lie on the sun lounger under the awning reading my book. Ordered DD a new book that arrived today, so she sat out with me too.SPC 0763

I took my daughter to the doctors regarding her anxiety as her exams triggered her anxiety to go through the roof, doctors were great, wrote a letter asking the school to supply more support for her. She ended up being placed in a quieter room with a extra 30 minutes for her exams if she needed it best £20 9; a doctors letter I spent for her.
don’t letter any teacher make you or your son feel this way the fact that you both cried after meeting this awful sounding person I would take it further. I had my daughters year head tell my daughter anxiety and panic attacks will not be accepted...............I took it all the way and condemned the school for not taking mental health seriously for teenagers today.
