Morning Robin :) Hope DD's tooth doesn't cause her too much pain before she gets to the dentist. Ours has just started routine appointments again and I always go in September so I'm one of the first on the list and off for a check up myself today. My niece did gymnastics and she loved it. I was never very pliable as a youngster lol and although I could do handstands I never did master the cartwheel.  :D

Hope your friend manages to sort the elephant out. Have a lovely weekend. xx

Her tooth fell out, so isn't hurting anymore. Rang the dentist and she just has a normal check up booked later in the month now, and to have her fluoride treatment. Good news that you can have your check up, ours have just started the childrens check ups, not sure when adults will start. BF's face was hilarious when she saw the state of the elephant 🤣 took her a while but she managed to get it sorted out 🐘😊.

First full week back and both of mine are tired out, they are both glad it is the weekend. DD does start gymnastics tomorrow, but not until 11 so that's perfect. Need to take DS to the shops tomorrow as he's grown out of nearly all of his trousers again. 5 pairs we realised didn't fit this morning, 2 were in the wash so he ended up in shorts and it was pretty chilly here today 🙈. Had hoped to pay some extra to MIL when I got paid but wont be as much now as want to get him a few pairs at least and if DD likes the groups tomorrow will have fees to pay next week. Never mind, always something isn't it.

Only spend today was £6 for a toy to put away for the Christmas toy appeal, which I hope will still be happening, must do surely? Christmas will definitely be different this year. The run up to Christmas is my favourite time of year, the markets, Panto, ice skating etc. We never do big family gets together but see everyone in each family group, but who knows yet if we will even be able to do that. Time will tell and as long as we all stay healthy that's the main thing.

Hope every one has a lovely weekend.

Last week was a pretty s**t week overall.

Work was real busy and it was so so hot! Here's me waiting for the cold frosty mornings and we keep getting heatwaves 🥵.

I somehow managed to drive into our driveway and got the wheel arch stuck on our gate post, I don't think I could do it again if I tried, literally the perfect angle to get it wedged on. I couldn't go forward or reverse. Ended up ripping the wheel arch off, the trim and scratched alot of the paintwork off and a bit of damage underneath, DH said I was lucky as just missed ripping the fuel tank off. By the end of the day, DH had fixed everything and sorted the bodywork out but was £78 we could have done without spending, would have been more but he had some stuff in his garage. I was so annoyed with myself. 7 years we've lived here and I've knocked a few wing mirrors off before but nothing like that.

Took DS shopping, he got a lot as he found lots in the charity shop. Most shops don't have his 'style' but he did buy one pair of trousers new. We also went to the car boot and he picked up 5 shirts for £2 each. He did buy a few bits in the charity that didn't fit but passed them onto BF, as she is the size of a teenage boy 🤣.

A lot of money spent and it has pretty much wiped us out, which feels quite overwhelming but hopefully will be able to get back on track soon.

DD had a good week at least, loved gymnastics again and had a phone call from her teacher to that she had a reading test and her reading age is 11+, she's not yet 8. Very proud of that 🙂.

Work is getting very quiet again with the new rules coming in, doubt I will be needed much. Going to make sure I don't just sit at home doing nothing. Want to try and beat my previous weeks target on my steps (I probably beat it last week but my fitbit ran out of battery on the Thursday) I find it harder it get so many steps in when I haven't got work, so will need to get myself up and going.

Hope everyone has a lovely week.

Thanks Mark, I do find it easier to get my steps in at work, mainly because my brain is like a sieve and I'm up and down the cellar like a yoyo 😆 and doing the school run again helps. Yesterday, I popped into work to sort some bits out before going to see BF, we enjoyed a coffee wondering if it will be a while if restrictions come into place about socialising in others homes. She made me a lovely needle felted pumpkin 🎃.

Nothing much today. Just getting stuff done at home. Walked into town to try and find a thermometer as ours isn't any good, but none to be found. Ordered one online before they go out of stock again or silly prices.

Christmas vouchers came today. Some of these will go towards DD's birthday too.

    Monday steps - 16,608
Today - 11,787 and doubt I will get many more now as I'm plonked on the sofa waiting for Boris 😆.

Hi Robin :) Shame about the car but for the damage caused £78 doesn't sound too bad, although definitely something you could do without. Really hope the new rules don't affect your work too much. Some of DS's friends have been sent home from school to self isolate this week. I feel like I'm just sat here waiting for the inevitable to happen.  :/ xx

Sorry about the car, good that DH managed to fix it.  Well done to DD on her reading and DS on his bargains, and you on your steps!

    Thank you both 😊

Well, it seemed work was quieting down but suddenly it got very busy again. I have to now wear a visor when around the public, which is fine as even in normal circumstances I try to stay out of their way 🤣, so it's not often.

The temperatures are dropping 🤗 I really love autumn/winter. Although the rain on the school run the other day was mad, never seen hail stones so big and I got absolutely soaked through. Luckily DD had gone in before it got real bad.

Haven't tracked my steps all week. For a while now I could only read half the screen on my fitbit. As I wanted to keep up with it, I finally got in touch with amazon and asked if they knew if I could send it to be fixed. They offered me a new one for free 😁. Tried to set the new one up, neither would work so didn't track for over 2 days until I managed to sync the new one. I know my highest was over 18000 and lowest was 7000, didn't feel too well that day and napped quite a bit.

My brother rang Thursday evening, to see if we wanted to go away for the weekend. He had booked a cottage last minute and there was room for us, all paid for. I was so so tempted, even asked our sister if she'd come to check and feed the cat. But I come to my senses and realised even with petrol and food it was likely to be over £100, that we just don't have right now. So I turned down the offer and he's spent the weekend sending me lovely pictures to rub it in 🤣.

My other brother also messaged to ask if I can help again with the job I do running up to Christmas for him, so soon enough the house will be overrun with boxes.

Did order a few bits for Christmas this week, with the vouchers so not out of bank, which is good because there is none left😏.

Our account for our big debt is now closed 🎉🎉. Never did manage to give anymore to MIL this month, but maybe next month.
