Hi. Thanks all, I have been keeping up with the diaries but haven't felt like I've had much to say, didn't realise it had been so long though.
DS's phone was beyond repair, we got him a second hand one for £30, nothing special but does the job.
Had lots going on with meetings and appointments with DS. Work has been busy, well when I've been there. I am truly so lucky with the wonderful people I work for who understand and support me when I can't go in. He's barely been at school and if he has, he's not going to his lessons. I have felt down myself about it all.
Today, me and DD caught the train to town and had lunch and a little bit of shopping. Not really something we could afford but it was lovely, just the two of us.
Will try and start updating more. Just watching Country file, this week's is my local area. Truly lucky to live where we doso beautiful.

Another day, another meeting. This one was 3 hours long! Was exhausted when we left but this is the start of his neuro development assessment to see if he possibly has Aspergers. We missed the train by a few minutes so had a hour to waste, so did buy us both a hot drink.SPC 0760

It eats up so much time, but both medical establishments and BR run to their own timetables, and you just have to accept you are in safe hands, but ones who whilst caring intensely for your health and well being don't really care about your scheduleI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

I hope it didn't come across that I was moaning about the meetings
I appreciate there is a lot to go through and we missed the train as we stopped on the way back to help a lady who's pedal fell off her bike. I am glad that he is getting the tests done as at least we will know either way and I am thankful as I know how long those waiting lists are.

I hope you get an answer soon. My DS has been diagnosed with aspergers. Maybe it will help DS to know what may be contributing to his feelings. I know missing school isn't good but he is young and if his emotional issues can be improved then he will be fine in the end.
Glad you had a nice outing with DD.

Thanks all. Yesterday wasn't great. Had to leave work early again as DS was texting me from the school toilets for nearly an hour. I didn't pick him up and was glad he attended the rest of his lessons but did go into school to ask why no one had noticed he wasn't in lessons. I seem to be either worried he's not in school or worried when he is. DD broke up for half term yesterday and then I had to take her back for a Halloween disco, which she enjoyed. I had a bad headache so went to bed early.
Today I had lots of plans to get stuff done at home but popped to see the twins this morning as it's their 1st birthday! Crazy how quick that's gone. And then popped to my mums and now it's nearly 1oclock and I've got nothing done and my head still hurts. Need to sort stuff out as busy all day tomorrow and then we go away Friday. Not sure if I'm looking forward to going or not anymore.SPC 0760 -
Have a good trip. Hope DS is ok xx"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Thanks, we did have a nice time away. Weather was pretty bad but enjoyed one nice day on the beach. DC did some activities and enjoyed the arcade. Nice bonus was that we had a real posh caravan, didn't realise and I definitely got a good bargain for it. Managed to bring some money home with us so took the DC shopping as they both needed some new clothes. DS was on his last pair of trousers that fit again. The kitten sulked with me for a few days after I picked her up from the cattery :rotfl::o
Had hoped for a few extra days off in the holidays but we had an inspection at work so ended up going in everyday this week apart from today, went really well though so glad about that.
DD enjoyed Halloween. She always goes out with BF's girls and her partner. We don't get many people do it by us but I help at BF's house and we went through over 10 big bags of sweets this year.
Declared this years total on the SPC. Now, most of this has already gone as was a mixture of Christmas club, holiday savings etc and I have already bought stuff to put away and DD's birthday gifts are finished. Total was £1278.49. Over the moon with that and it has been a relief to know that some stress has eased knowing I have stuff sorted for DC for Christmas as everything has been so tight since DH's accident. Going to have to cut the list of who I buy for this year though, which is hard for me to do.
Things are still super tight and normal saving account is empty and it's quite stressful. Our washing machine sounds like it's going to shake the house apart when it goes into spin mode but at the moment is washing the clothes fine so hoping it will hang on a while so we can save for a new one.
Hope everyone is well.SPC 0760
