I post on my phone, I've noticed it for a while but unsure what I can do. Never mind, it doesn't really matter.

3/7 creditors have replied accepting our token offers :). Since my big christmas/birthday spree the other day, only spend has been 50p for a charity donation for DDs school.

Did not feel well at all yesterday, they tried to send me home from work but I stayed and then slept for the rest of the day. Still not feeling 100% but better. Hopefully it will pass as I'm off with DD to stay at my brothers for the night tomorrow. He's going to come pick us up after I finish work, looking forward to going to stay and seeing my nephew too.

DS has had mini mocks this week, I am so pleased he's been trying to keep his calm around them and has been revising and trying to get more sleep. His mentor has already proved to be amazing, so glad we managed to get him to be DSs one on one :j

It must think you are still on winter time. It will be fine next month when the clocks change :D

Glad DS is doing well, and good news about the creditors.

Hope you are feeling better today.

Had a lovely weekend at my brothers house. He took DD out while I had work Saturday and we then travelled to his. He took us out for a Pizza Hut and we watched a film and had a drink once the little ones were in bed. Then on Sunday he treated us again to a day out at the zoo. He refused my attempts to pay for anything and I always feel odd about that. He does earn more in a week than we do in a month and it's his choice I know but still makes me feel like the skint one, probably because I am :rotfl: I am very grateful of course.

Work yesterday and was meant to be in today but got an unexpected day off, so got everything cleaned and tidied up home yesterday so today I didn't have to do anything, and that is what I've done, literally nothing :D my sister did pop round for a quick cup of tea but other than that and hanging the washing out, I haven't moved much today :j. Have a meeting after school though at DD's school and this evening off to mine and best friends old school for the open evening, as her eldest will be starting next year and I said I'd go with her to be nosey :rotfl:

Still no news on our other creditors about being self managed and token payments.

sounds like a lovely brother - I'm sure your turn will come when you can help him - will just be in a different way
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

Glad you had a good weekend with your brother.

I don't think all of my creditors acknowledged me, I just paid them anyway.

Ah yes, maybe this is my payback for all the years before he was married that I used to buy him food because he spent all his wages at the pub and did his washing every week, because otherwise he'd just go and buy new clean clothes :rotfl: I did help them alot when their little one come along as they both have busy careers, and help when needed now which they are always grateful for. I know he wouldn't spend it if he didn't want to. I just find it weird to be treated to so much I guess

Ah that's good to know, thanks Jwil. Actually had another reply today accepting the payment so that is 4/7. Where did you find to pay when they never replied?

DS had a bad morning so didn't make it into school today :( wasn't leaving him alone so dropped him off with BF. Late into work and was busy as they had another viewing today. By the time I got back BF had taught DS how to needle felt and he has spent the day making little pumpkins :D he said it's quite therapeutic. He had his meeting this evening and seems better.

DD had a reading test at school and her reading age is 9 year 3 months, very proud as she's not even 7 yet :T she is a little bookworm though.

Very quiet morning at work as everyone left early for a family funeral. Afterwards popped to BF's and we had a coffee and she waxed my eyebrows.

DD's swimming lesson is on a Thursday now at 3.30. Will have to drive round to school now so we can leave straight away as she doesn't come out of school until 3.20. Was so much quieter though, even managed to get seat where I could watch her. Her first lesson in the new stage and she had to jump in the deep end. The look on her face I actually thought she was going to run away :rotfl: but she ended up doing it 4 times :) spends today was £3.20 for her certificate and badge as didn't have my purse last week to get it.

DS stayed after school to help with the open evening but is now already in bed asleep, he came home early saying he had a bad headache and was very clammy. I felt awful most of last week so maybe it's a bug. Hopefully he feels better in the morning.

Hope DS is a little better, and well done to DD :T

I think with the ones that didn't reply, I looked at the old letters - there is usually payment intstructions on there or on their websites.

  • Thanks Jwil, will give the rest a few more weeks and see if they reply.

DS is still not very well, has a temperature and isn't looking well :( He was meant to be having friends over for the night but has had to rearrange.

Had a text last night to say due to health and safety reasons DD's school is shut until next Thursday  no one has been told why but must be something bad to shut the whole school like that. They have been having work done on the roof, so maybe something to do with that. She didn't believe me when she got up this morning :rotfl: so we are all in for the day.

DH is at pyhsio now, hopefully it goes well as they said last time he might not have to go as often if today goes okay.

  • So, as it happens DD's school reopened today after they got repairs done quicker than they thought. Yesterday went out to the cinema with my sister and nephews to watch IT, absolute load of rubbish but was nice to go out with them. My sister was due to fly to Greece this morning but it got cancelled as the flights were with TC.

A few months back I mentioned about spending the night at the hospital with DS but didn't elaborate on the reason why. He took an overdose and today he did it again  I feel like I've been beat up, every part of me hurts. We are doing everything we can to help him and I just don't know what else we can do. We have safeguarded our home as best as we can to then find out he can go and buy boxes of pills from the shop anyway?!. I was naive to think he's been doing better recently, I literally feel like I haven't got a clue. I didn't see it coming again and I wish I knew how to make him feel better. I'm so gutted for his sake, it's so unfair that he is struggling so much at this age:(
