Thank you everyone, I really appreciate all your messages. Haven't had much time since last week to get on here.

Things are settled for now with DS, have had lots of meetings etc. He's back at school now and he's been busy practicing his audition for the school play tomorrow. Trying to help him find ways to cope when things get overwhelming for him.

When we got home from the hospital I got the worst migraine I've ever had that made me physically sick and I didn't move for two days. And in between all of that my brother sent me over pallets of stock for my Christmas job. I was expecting alot but he accidentally tripled one of the orders. We literally couldn't move in here and I just sulked and kicked the boxes for a few days before actually doing anything about it :rotfl:. Some of been collected but have had more problems with couriers this week than ever before

Took the kitten to be spayed yesterday, all went well but she is thoroughly annoyed about her vest, took her a while to find her balance. Have to pop her down tomorrow morning for a post op check.

October is going to be another very tight month money wise with very little room to save anything again as we both ended up having days off work last week with everything going on. Never mind it is what it is, we've had bad months before and will no doubt have them again. We have heard off 6/7 creditors accepting the £1 token.

    Hope everyone is well.

Thank you WelshKitty :) hoping this month will not be as stressful as last! We do have our short break to Devon booked in the half term, so we have that to look forward to :)

Apart from problems with couriers again, today has been a nice day. My brother rang early this morning to say he had the day off so was bringing my nephew over and wondered if I was free for a walk, so took them to the Nature Reserve and ponds. Love spending time with them. My sister also arrived home today, after her holiday to Greece got cancelled, she managed to book one to Barcelona and had a lovely time :).

Barcelona is fabulous. If you can do it you should. Just the right siZe and something for everyone often with about 100 yards
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

  • I'm glad DS seems more emotionally stable again and I really hope that the counselling and family support help him.

Your trip to the nature reserve sounds lovely and it's good to have a break in Devon to look forward to (it's a lovely county ;)).

    Thank you all :):)

Tomorrow is my best friend's birthday so we had a afternoon tea booked for today but had to change our plans because of the couriers again  I have never had so many problems with them before! One finally turned up but for only one of the orders, so still stuck with more boxes. Anyway, she came here for the day to wait in with me and I stuck a candle in a yum yum from Greggs :rotfl::rotfl: she was happy enough and loved her gift and had cuddles with the kitten, who is still feeling very sorry for herself but check up was all good.

DS had his last school photos today so he got up early to have a bath and he dropped his phone in it  DH has taken it apart and trying to get it working again. Fingers crossed as no way we can afford another phone at the moment.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
