    Hi everyone.

Well, after 10 days or so of little control over food (and little self control, too!) I seem to have gained 3lb, still1lb under target though. We were at a funeral for a few days, followed immediately by a pre booked short holiday in the sun, and I'm afraid the breakfast pastries were just too tempting...and the booze...The only saving grace has been the swimming and walking we've done so things could have been much worse. The hotel served all meals buffet style with loads of choice and I couldn't help but look at what some other guests were choosing to eat - plates of plain pasta, chips and bread, no veg, no protein, massive amounts of carbs. Anyway, back on the horse today, so meal planning and shopping, alongside the washing mountain.

I haven't read back yet, but will later, so I'll just say well done to any losers, commiserations fellow gainers!

Thanks for the good wishes:). We're out for an Italian meal later. It's lovely food there but I think it'll be really off plan but I expected it.

    :T well done vixstar. That's a really good loss!:T

I think you're one of the 'be good when I can' group kathrynha. I like that you only counted off plan meals. Much better than writing off whole days.:)

Lovely but I would need loads of gravy and some roasties......
Think that's where I go wrong, gravy and other sauces.

Have your tried the Hairy Bikers braised steak curlgirl?

It has heaps of delicious gravy. We had it yesterday and I count it as free. It's just a teaspoon of cornflour for the whole lot. In the past I've saved some gravy and reheated it.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Weetabix, half banana, HEA milk
L: ham, gherkins, fried LO veg
    D: Italian
    Syns: tbc

Thanks for that Chris. it's kind of disappointing to see that in 6 weeks, I've only lost 3.5lbs although I already knew this, it's worse to see it in writing.

I suspect tomorrow is going to be a good week for me though.... I've been weighing myself everyday and going next level on my dieting. I should be posting a weigh-in of 2lbs off, at least :) which is awesome.

    :)

Have a look on Pinch of Nom website. They've got a syn free version. Haven't tried it as only seen it today. Think I might have a go at them when I come back from holiday when I make a curry.
