Don't get me wrong he is a good man - just a bl00dy stubborn one.
Sounds like my OH.... but mine is also turning into a grumpy old man. I keep telling him that our age difference is becoming more evident.....:D:D:D:D:D100 -

Here it is:
Ingredients
200g onions, peeled, halved and thinly sliced
60g gram flour
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tbsp coriander seeds, crushed
1 tsp deseeded and chopped green chilli
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
¼ tsp baking powder (may contain gluten)
Salt
Low calorie cooking spray
To serve
A pinch of paprika
Method
Place the onions, gram flour, lemon juice, cumin, coriander seeds, green chilli, chopped coriander and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Season with salt and add a few tablespoons of water to form a thick batter that coats the onion. Leave to rest for 15 minutes and then, using your fingers, mix again to combine thoroughly.
Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C Fan/Gas 7. Line a baking sheet with baking parchment and, using your fingers or a dessert spoon, drop small mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet to give you 12 bhajis.
Spray with low calorie cooking spray and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden. Remove from the oven and serve immediately sprinkled with the paprika.
If you're enjoying an Extra East SP day, enjoy with at least half a plate of Speed food vegetables.
Works out at 1 syn each but they're not a bad size.

Just back from our short break.
Today's plan:

D - roasted gammon, potatoes, carrots & onions, green beans
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - butter 2; mini meringue 3. May have a couple of glasses of wine tonight as didn't have any last night (unheard of, LOL!)

 that's good going for a Saturday night! Well done!:T
We've had football today, first match of the season. Ended as a 0-0 draw but the good news is that Half Time Crunchies are a thing of the past!:D I was quite happy with a Satsuma and I think I'll stick with fruit from now on.
On plan today. Tomorrow is our Wedding Anniversary so it won't be on plan.;)
Today's EE menu:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB overnight oats with red berries, HEA milk for drinks
L: ham, fried eggs, asparagus, tomato, spring onion and mushroomsHB steaks, SW roast potatoes, carrots and BNS, swede & carrot mash, kale, broccoli
Syns: Parmesan crust 1, weekend wine:).0 -
I wasn't that good! I'd used my syns during the day, LOL!
A can of cider with lunch and then we went into Broadstairs for the Folk Festival and ended up in the pub and I had a double gin & diet tonic - thankfully they had Sch***s and not Fe*er Tr**! I begrudge syns on tonic!
Also had an Iceland vanilla Vienna lolly (3 syns). Very nice but I prefer the strawberry one which is 4 syns!
Enjoy your anniversary meal. How many years is it?

It's 38 years tomorrow.DH is being an absolute sweetie. Normally we'd go out for the day but he has a commitment in the morning. Instead we're going to an early evening performance of Mamma Mia Here we go Again then for a drink and a meal. Poor man says he hates Abba but he knows I love it so that's what we're doing!:D
As this is a food thread. I thought I'd post a link to the Chicken Tikka song!
