Congratulations to all the losers.
I'm on holiday this week so am not weighing in so I'll claim a STS and hope it is all fine next week.0 -

Yes I would expect that, after presumably drinking lots of fluid and calories.
However I would imagine that directly post race you were lighter than at the start line.
Often after football (summer months) I can be up to 3lbs lighter than before. I know that seems pretty extreme, but I guess the scales dont lie.0 -
:j:j:j Another cool day. Managed to get bedroom cool yesterday so me and our Poppy both managed a goodnights sleep, thank god a month hardly sleeping isn't on

Trouble is forecast says sun returning end next week and its going to be hotter :mad::mad: to that0 -

DS1 and DIL leave next Saturday - so back on plan on Sunday.
DIL is going to America with work, then to Singapore.
DS1 is going to Spain with work, then home for a few days before going to Singapore. So I will have a wobble when he is home again.
They are staying with DIL's parents at first - I don't think they are looking forward to it...... maybe we have spoilt them a little too much!
I just need to book a flight - hopefully it will get my motivation back.
We've got friends who love Singapore & hubby is talking about going out there for a break.....worth a visit SSM?
Have spent the day batch cooking so am feeling very virtuous atm ...and whilst cooking realised that my size 16 shorts are loose on me so am well pleased with that.
Have also cooked a cottage pie for tea tonight so will have that with plenty of veg....never thought I'd be hankering after a hot dinner after recent weeks lol.
Drinking plenty of sparking water to keep up my fluid levels - even preferring that to alcohol atm.0 -

We went to Singapore for the 1st leg of the wedding.... it was lovely, the only city that I have been to and said 'we must come back for longer'. Hopefully we will be there in January, but DIL's sister is expecting a baby - and we are expecting DIL and DS1 to be visiting them in Australia so it may have to be Easter.
Well done the on loose size 16 and batch cooking... I have made chocolate brownies with blackberries inside..... but I will have it with low cal ice-cream!
We are looking forward to a full Sunday dinner... yummy! x100 -
Back home today. Rained most of the night last night and was still raining when we left the New Forest. Rained most of the way home. Been drizzly since we got back. Certainly has freshened the air.
Maman I haven't actually batch cooked the potatoes yet but think I'd probably just put them in the bottom of the oven when I'm cooking something in there. At least they should be crispy then! I've never cooked them I the SC but I've heard other people have, just wrapped in foil and cook in the bottom.
Back on plan today:
Brunch - bacon, egg & mushrooms
Dinner - boiled gammon, onions, potatoes & carrots. Will make some onion gravy with some of the liquor.
Think I might also make a pea & ham soup with the LO liquor.
HEA - milk
HEB - probably Ryvita later if I'm hungry.
Syns - slice Soreen loaf - need to check syns; butter 2
