A quiet day today with lots of dog walking involved.

Had porridge for breakfast/dinner & had the never ending (or so it feels) chilli pasta bake for tea as hubby is out.

Has anyone tried the new meals?

  • So I may have ended up at the Chinese for beef in a black bean sauce and rice, with a meringue to follow... It's not going to massively help me at next weeks WI but I'm within syns and it was yum! :rotfl:

Thanks for the welcomes. Didn't make it to group. Youngest decided school melodrama was more important, all the things did not fit.

Still, I've planned out meals, and am sticking to syn counts based on the links on the thread. I forgot how tasty the SW Chinese Stir Fry is.:D

Breaky: this morn was fat free natural yoghurt over weetabix and banana and berries topped with milled linseed and flaxseed (this is a spoonful, I'm not sure what the syn count would be but allowing 2 as they are oil based grains)

Lunch: omlette filled with peppers served with salad.

Dinner will be home made pizzas, synning the pitta bases. (7 each wholemeal) and sweetcorn salad.

Snacking on fruits at the mo, as my sugar addition is screaming. A handful of grapes seem to settle this.

I'm hoping to be 2lb lighter this time next week and am hunting for a group that will fit in my mania-styled life.

    Happy Thursday folks.

Good start dancing dragons.:) You have a plan which I think is the most important thing about SW (along with lots of Speed;))

2 level tablespoons of flaxseed/linseed is a HEB or 6 syns for 25g.

I don't want to confuse you but as your menu looks veggie today it could be a Green day which means that Weetabix and seeds would be your 2 HEBs. I don't see a HEA but would that be perhaps be cheese on the pizza? You could have 2 x HEAs of 30g of cheddar or 40g of mozzarella each time. HTH.

WI is tomorrow for me. I don't think I've gained this week. I've been really good but I don't feel as if I've lost either:(. Scales will tell though.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB overnight oats with red berries, HEA milk for drinks
L: slice turkey with stir fried veg
    D: SW tagliatelle Bolognese
    Syns: probably 2 of Parmesan
