Great news, well done!
This is the original recipe
http://www.hairybikers.com/recipes/view/courgette-and-feta-fritters
I think it was on their Mediterranean series, maybe Turkish??
I adapt it a lot (for 2 of us, 1 and 1/2 courgettes that I had left, 1 egg, less cheese and flour, all the herbs apart from dill, shape and firm up in the fridge, spray with frylight and oven bake till browned). Was very nice for a makeshift tea!0 -
Well done gtq, curlgirl and sunflower.:T Good losses and a shiny for you too sunflower!:D
I've been wondering about kathrynha too bubbs. Not like her to stay away so long.

That's quite a relief and the best part of a week earlier than I expected. Next Thursday starts another round of eating out so I can relax a bit.:) I won't weigh now for about another 8 weeks.
I just have the smoked haddock quite plain (baked in a foil parcel) esmy. Then we have chips, tomatoes and mushrooms all baked alongside (chips in earlier) and some green stuff done at the last minute on the hob. I have been enjoying cauliflower steaks with it though. Briefly, cut thick slices through the centre of the cauliflower. Spray both sides with Frylight and sprinkle with salt, pepper and spices. We like garlic granules and chilli or paprika. That bakes on a piece of foil about the same length of time as the chips. Offsets the plain fish nicely.

I've done this week's shop and my meal plan up to Thursday.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, half HEB toast, HEA milk
L: JP with cottage cheese, pickled cabbage and cornichonschicken casserole with cabbage and new potatoes
Syns: cornflour 1, weekend wine:j

Thanks for the good wishes. I'm delighted with my loss today. It feels good.:D
I just love Turkish food esmy ( just has the edge on Greek IMO although it's very similar). Those burgers sound like Turkish muçver which I have when I'm there at every opportunity. How many syns do you reckon for your adapted version?0 -
Well done, Sarah. gtq, sunflower, maman, esmy and curl girl.
I hope your cold is on the way out, bubbs. And I’m with you re Lemsips! BTW, Friday’s meal looks especially tempting.

I hope you have a relaxing weekend tie. It's amazing how that anxiety goes. Probably before 10 a.m. on the first day! Do try and pace yourself.:)
I bought a small gammon joint yesterday ready to make lentil soup so I might get that going today. I'll need to check there's room in the freezer though. I've done rather well with YS bargains recently so it's looking rather full.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB overnight oats, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO chicken free casserolepork burger, SW chips, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried onions, something green
Syns: burger? (not 5% mince:() and weekend wine:D
I might make patatas bravas instead of chips for a change.0 -

Just looked up mucver and they are very similar. I think they're quite synful! Between 2 of us I used 2 tablespoons of flour and around 50g feta, so around 7 syns per serving?? I tend to use my syns in meals rather than snacking or alcohol.0 -
Afternoon all.
WI today saw - 1lb which I was pleased with, especially as I came from choir and hubby had ordered 2 large pizzas from Dominos.
Finding deciding what to eat a real struggle at the moment with nothing hitting the spot....got steak for tonight as it was either that or a Chinese from the takeaway lol.
Did anyone see Nadia's family favourites this morning? I caught the last 10 minutes or so when she was cooking breaded chicken but instead of breadcrumbs, the 'breadcrumbs' was made out of a wheetabix which made it very sw friendly - don't know how it tastes though.0 -

I think I'd better stick to having mucver when I'm in Turkey.:o
