Maybe it won't be that bad. But whatever happens you'll have 105 new syns and a new week!
Sorry to hear you're struggling tie . I just know it's that job of yours. Have you thought of trying something different? :A
I'm having an attack of the munchies.I've no idea why and it's the last thing I need with WI tomorrow.
I've eaten 2 satsumas and some grapes but they don't help. Now I've taken a pack of cold turkey from the freezer! No pun intended! :rotfl:

Sorry to hear your anxiety has kicked in, maybe a chat with the doctor to make sure you are on the right meds and maybe some talking therapy? I have seen some really wonderful results with talking therapy. What about writing the things that are whizzy in your brain down... it may help to relax the brain a little. We are hear for you whenever you want us x
Oh I know what the problem is don’t i mamanthere’s even a name for it (secondary care trauma). Feel like it’s a vicious circle though, have anxiety for everything ie anxiety for work, shopping, appointments (eye test tomorrow
) so interviews for something new would finish me off
. Better the devil you know sometimes.
Funny, hubby said yesterday I should do something else as I’m too fragile these days. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Well done on your losses curlgirl, sky and vixstar. :T:T:TDelighted to report only a 1/2 on.
So not as bad as you thought then!:D
I understand where you're coming from tie. So the work related stress is spilling into every part of your life:mad:. That's really not right. My advice would be to go back to your GP, tell them all about it and get signed off sick and get referrals for therapy while you recover. Then give yourself a chance at your existing school and if they don't/won't make adjustments to support you I really think you should look elsewhere. :A
I've been to WI today and STS.:( I wasn't hopeful but it would have been good to have a teeny weeny loss. I only need to lose a couple of pounds.
I've decide that I must take some more action. The way I follow the plan is obviously great for maintaining but not for losing. I've decided to have an alcohol free Friday. It won't be easy but it'll mean that I'll know I'm well within syns come the end of the week as creeping over is the only thing I can think is stopping me at the moment.
Today's plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Weetabix, HEA milk
L: JP with cottage cheese and picklesVeggie Chilli with Brown Rice and SW chips
Syns: NONE!
Actually, looking at my menu today is a Green day so if I do go over on milk it won't matter and I could even have some toast!:D0 -
Definitely a Green day Maman. I'd probably go for a couple of Ryvita with some quark or cottage cheese on, so still Free. Definitely can't eat toast without spread of some sort.
Made a 2 pea soup for lunch today. Haven't got electric today so wasn't as smooth as usual as on,y had a masher to try and smooth jt a bit, not very successfully but it was tasty and warmed us up, which we needed as quite cool and wet this morning. Been lovely and sunny this afternoon.

That's a good idea denise. I have got Ryvita and I always have cottage cheese in. I've also got Benefit bars.
I'm happy with dry toast at breakfast time with beans or eggs but on its own I'd probably have Marmite.
I was only thinking today that it's starting to feel like soup weather. I'm planning to use up the last of the cooked gammon slices from the freezer this week then I'll buy another joint. I do enjoy the gammon but the soup made from the stock is even better.:drool:0 -
I'll also eat toast with beans or scrambled egg but just on on it's own. I've never been able to spread Marmite onto dry toast it just tears.
The soup I make is made with a small onion and a small potato, 50g dried peas, a squirt of garlic paste, squirt of chilli paste and a squirt of ginger paste (or you can use fresh or dried if you'd rather). Soften onions and then add everything else and cover with boiling water. Pressure cook for 12 minutes.
Depressurise and add 100g of frozen peas. Bring back to the boil and liquidise. Add more boiling water if too thick.
Don't add salt until the end as the dried peas won't soften and will be like rock hard bullets (I know from experience, lol).

I agree with maman about the GP, sick, therapy/support, talk to the management and see if they can address it, and if notlook for something else.... you deserve so much more in life x
If this is a little drastic at the moment, there are some CBT courses on line for free - they may help get you started x100 -
Oh, beanie, I’m sorry you’re stuck in plodding mode ☹
Well done, Sky, curl girl and Vixstar.
On the footie front, we have a new manager! Must be bonkers – he came from team top equal in league, to us, right at the bottom!Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

Well done on your loss.
Treat the opticians as a beauty session, that's how I try to think of it..... same with the dentist and the hairdressers as well.
Good luck.curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -
Hello everyone
It’s been a busy week in work this week so have been mainly lurking rather than posting.
WI today saw +1/2lb but after the bank holiday that was brilliant....I had a sneaky weigh when I got home and I was heavier that that.
I’m going out tonight to the theatre so will be off plan food wise but as I’m the designated driver won’t be touching alcohol so will be damage limiting.
Have a good day everyone0
