Well I managed a 3.5lb gain last night. Not bad when I've been on holiday and had lots of meals out, where pretty much everything was with chips.

Determined to have a good week though, and want to see a good loss on the scales next week. Also want to try and shake up what I eat a little. My food gets rather repetitive so want to try and have something different for breakfast every day and try out some new recipes for lunches and dinners.

    Today's plan:
Breakfast - yogurt, grapenuts and raspberries
Lunch - Cajun noodles with lots of veg
Dinner - Mexican mince with couscous and salad
    Snacks - SF jelly, fruit

    HA - milk and cheese
    HB - grapenuts
Syns - SF jelly (0.5), noodle sauce (2)

Was planning a long walk around the ramparts today but the heavens have opened, so no body magic today. Also got thunder and lightening.

No idea what we'll be eating apart from burgers and onions in french stick, probably for lunch.

    Morning all :hello:

I'm offline soon until Sat 8th September - off to sunny (I hope) Menorca :)

This challenge is due to end at the weekend, and the new Halloween bi-monthly challenge (from week commencing the 3rd September to the 28th October - 8 weeks) is due to start soon.

If someone else wants to pick up the reins that would be fine :)

Or, we could just continue to post on this thread for another week or so, then I'd be happy to sort out this weekend's chart and start a new thread on Sat 8th.

    Any thoughts?

It's only a couple of weeks, and I know how to do it, so easier than explaining it all to someone else.
Too busy and stressed to take it back on full time, but happy to help when I can

3.5lbs off for me last night. Takes me back to an exact 5st loss so far.

I'm really going to try and push myself the next 2 or 3 weeks. It feels like such a tough challenge, but I'll get there :)

It's cleared up here now so you might be lucky. I was telling DH where you are in France. I don't know the actual village but I think the area is interesting. We've been to Reims, Verdun, Nancy and Strasbourg. They're all well worth a visit if only for the wine and champagne. :D

Well done on putting your lapses behind you Stoke.:T You're right that it gets harder when you've not much left to lose but it is worth it.:) I've decided to go to WI on Friday instead of tomorrow in the (vain:() hope that I might get back to target range. I like both Thursday and Friday consultants so I don't begrudge them the money if I have to pay. They haven't got rich on me in the past 7 years!:D
