Brilliant loss, majorica.
I love your idea of making frozen chips, maman. I wish my freezer was more like the Tardis!
Hope you are feeling a bit better, beanie.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Hello All
Popping in with a small loss of -1lb
Funeral yesterday went as well as they can go I guess.
Had some cereal and yog before we left early morning, but didn't eat again until we got home around 8 in the evening, resulting in devouring 1/2 a French stick, ton of cheese, sausage roll and a load of biscuits!
Hoping to be back on track today although dd wants to go shopping and into the city tomorrow so will have to watch myself, although the walking will help.
Thanks for the chart chrisv, hope you are feeling better beanie'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Maman - sorry I haven't replied this was the one https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/slow-cooker-pot-roast ....definitely a keeper!
Tete - we had the son down for lunch so we had no chance of having seconds!
Sirens - I'm glad the funeral went as well as can be expected & I know the feeling of trying to be good only to go completely the other way ...though I would have had the whole french stick - that sort of bread is my krynonite still.
We're not going away now - I have to go to site tomorrow so, on the positive side will have another 24 hrs before weigh in but on the negative side there will be no kitchen facilities so will have to run the gauntlet of passing McDonalds on the way home.
Made a curry at 6.30am yesterday for yesterday's tea but use a jar (yes I know - hangs head in shame) but in my defence I froze half of it so had effectively 1/4 of the syns. Would love to try a SW curry recipe but I'm just not organised enough to marinate the meat!
Choir is back tonight but am going to try and eat before I go so that I'm not eating late.....what though I don't know yet!0 -
All losses count sirens:T. Good to see you.:)
Shame you had a bit of a blow out last night but it was only the one 'meal' after a long, stressful day and now it's behind you.:)If I were you I'd plan somewhere to go for lunch with your DD that is SW friendly. What sort of places are available?greentiger wrote: »I love your idea of making frozen chips, maman. I wish my freezer was more like the Tardis!
I was just thinking of having a bag in there for when I need to save time. A while ago I made a few extra and froze them and when I next made chips I added them to the tray. I couldn't tell the difference between the fresh and frozen when they'd cooked.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Weetabix with HEA milk, half banana
L: LO chickenless casserolebaked salmon, SW chips, cauliflower steaks, tomatoes, mushrooms, green stuff
Syns: None!:D
Not seen MrsRyan for a while either.:( I know it happens with RL groups too but I often wonder how people are doing.:)0 -

Ooh thanks gts, I did see that recipe when I was dithering about it. Good to know it's tried and tested.:)
Did you add wine or all stock? Did you use brisket? I think my piece was either silverside or sirloin but I think it would have been OK.
How did the gravy turn out? Sorry for all the questions.:o
Sorry to hear you're having such a stressed time with the builders. You're doing ever so well to be preparing and planning (even with a jar!).:D0 -

We'll mostly be in central London, so pretty much anything. I'm thinking of trying the Leon restaurants for lunch as they do lots of salads and if I ditch the sauce, should be pretty much free. We have one of their cook books and luckily dd likes that sort of healthy food (if I was taking ds it would be McD all the way!)'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.
