Tete - hubby cooked the joint of beef we had on sunday in the slow cooker - omg it was lovely (which was the start of the rot sunday)...I was a sceptic when he said about cooking it that way but I think it is now my all time favourite way of doing it.

I think my eyes were bigger than my belly when I bought that joint, I've had two 'roast' dinners out of it and definitely have enough for a massive batch of curry plus maybe a batch of stroganoff or something too.

I just chopped up some potatoes, carrots and leeks, put the joint on top, poured 100ml oxo stock over and did it for six hours. The meat was much tenderer after the second heating though, so it'll just pull apart today for my batch cooking.

    Today:
B - Granola, muller light, clementines
D - Salmon salad (carrots, beetroot, cucumber)
    T - Beef curry!
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Granola
Syns - Sugar in coffee (4), hot chocolate (2)

Not feeling too confident this week and I don't know why as I haven't been bad :o

    Plodding is good Beanie!

I have a friend that used to wear oversize mens' cardigans to work. She loved it when someone told her the label was sticking out as then she could show off her 'large' bust!:rotfl:

Fingers crossed for a loss this week Stoke and tete.:)

Called into Sainsbury's this morning and they had YS pork and steak mince. I plan to freeze some for another day and make burgers with the rest.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB overnight oats with red berries, HEA milk for drinks
L: fried eggs, fried potatoes and mix of mushrooms, courgettes, spring onion, tomatoes
D: chicken casserole (carrots, onion, mushrooms, leeks, butter beans) with new potatoes, medley of greens (cabbage, beans and broccoli)
    Syns: cornflour 1
