Away vor the weekend at a rally at Wateringbury, was going to eat out yesterday lunchtime but the pub didn't have any food! I'm surprised they manage to keep going with only doing food a couple of days a week - Saturday breakfast and Sunday roast.

Will post the curry mix when I get home later today.

Doing the final load of washing tomorrow morning and then off to France on Tuesday morning.

Hello all, I've had no broadband all week, and no willpower it seems.

    1.5lb gain please Chris :wall:

[EDIT - I've just thought this still includes my Guinness Gain from last weekend - I have actually lost 2lbs since Tues so it's not all bad :o]

Not sure about today's menu yet, I fancy some sort of slow cooker meat and veg I think...

Haven't read back I'm afraid, hope you're all well, hugs all round!

Have a big hug from me too beanie. :grouphug: I was thinking about your horrible back spasm this week. Didn't you have your mobile to hand to summon help? I'd hate you to be in that position (excuse pun:o) again.

I look forward to hearing all about your travels in France denise. We've not been for about 18 months. Only last night we were reminiscing about some of the fantastic holidays we've had there and (while it was good to see famous sites ) how much we've enjoyed little out of the way places.

I know what you mean about pubs and their hours. The one I was at a couple of weeks ago (with the smoked salmon and prawn 'wrap') is a strange place. I really get the feeling they don't want custom. They only open for 2 hours at lunchtime, closed on Sunday evenings and all day Monday. And they expect you to order and pay at the bar which for quite an expensive restaurant is poor. I only go there because my friends choose it as near home.

I've just portioned up veggie chilli I made yesterday for the freezer and kept some out for my lunch. Last night I made up HM pilau rice for the freezer too. It's not only very mse:money: compared with the microwave pouches but it's syn free.:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB overnight oats with strawberries and raspberries, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP wih veggie chilli, cottage cheese and pickled cabbage
D: roast beef, SW roast potatoes, carrots and BNS, swede & carrot mash, cauli, broccoli
Syns: HM gravy 4? and probably gin syns for a change;).

Had mobile so phoned my DS.
But had to crawl to front door to get key out.
Could not crawl and carry anything.
If that even makes any sense.

Oh yes. The key was in the lock so he wouldn't have been able to get in. :( Poor you.:A
