I make my own curry paste and freeze. Make enough for 3 or 4 curries at a time. Although a while back I didn't have time to make a batch so just mixed up the dry powder ix and just use a couple of tablespoons when I cook the onions at the beginning. This seens to work just a well and takes far less time to make.

All syn free of course. Works well with meat, fish and veg. Can make it notter if need to by adding some chilli as well as the mix.

Glad you're managing STS tie. That's quite a feat in the school holidays.:T

When you get back denise, you'll have to post the mix of spices that you use. I really should be able to make a curry to our liking instead of buying in. Where are you at the moment?:)

All I intend to do today is listen to my team playing away on the radio and do a bit of batch cooking while I'm at it. Pilau rice and veggie chilli is the plan.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB overnight oats with raspberries and strawberries, HEA milk for drinks
L: JP with cottage cheese, spring onion, gherkins and pickled cabbage
D: Aldi Lamb Rogan Josh, HM pilau, SW chips
    Syns: curry 1.5, weekend wine.:D

Haven't posted much this week but have had a skim through the posts ....

Well done Stoke on reaching 5st - bet you'll get to 6 before I get to my 5! Hope you're feeling better Beanie - don't even think you don't deserve any benefits after going through that.

Well done to everyone whose lost and cwtchs to those who haven't - my WI yesterday saw a STS which again I can live with. Went out last night for a curry as I think hubby was getting a bit fed up of me not wanting to go out and I must admit the non sw curry was lovely. I was the designated driver so was on water (although did have 2 whiskies when I got home!) all evening.

I've decided I need to get my head back where it was when I first joined so this week's challenge is to write everything down again.

Not sure what's on the menu though tonight but it will be light a) following last night and b) we've got mum & son coming for lunch - is it so wrong to be actually looking forward to a roast dinner again?

I had two slices of pizza, and one of tomato garlic bread - it is the most rubbish I have ate for a year.... it has made me feel really sluggish today.

I am back on plan today. x
