Morning gang, been awake for ages with headache but not a "sick" one so thats ok. Pretty cold and overcast here today. Am going to make some leek & Potato soup. Not done much yet, fed cats and all that lark, fed the worms(no I am NOT THAT sad!:rotfl: )in the Can-O-Worms, washed up, and tidied up the midden that is laughingly called a kitchen:o . Going to ASDA later to get some small boxes of rasins and satsumas in case we get any trick or treaters.

Morning everyone :j
What a busy week I'm having, apart from the usual work  there's so many other things to do, went for a coffee round a friend's on Monday after school/work, supervised DD making Halloween cakes last night for her Brownie cooking badge, then went to a Halloween party at the local garden centre, decorated the front of the house and carved the pumpkin, tonight DD has her Brownie Halloween party, so needs to get dressed up (and take her cakes). Tomorrow I'm dog walking for the FIL, and then on Friday the family stressed are getting their photos taken, then DD has a school disco, and on Saturday we're taking DD and 2 of her friends to the cinema and out for lunch for her Birthday - which is on Monday - and then to the Firework display at night. On Sunday I'm making DD's birthday cake and then Monday it's her actual birthday - phew!!!!
I think OS is going to mainly go out the window this week as I just don't have the time. All I want to do is finish my knitted Santa :rotfl:
Anyway tea tonight is lamb chops, mash, green beans and minted gravy - yummy! Need to get a loaf done in the BM - and do a dark load of washing/drying/ironing. What a pain this working lark is getting the way :rotfl:
DD won't be trick or treating tonight, as Brownies have a party, but normally we go around in a group of about 5 families, and only go to each others houses - where the Daddy's are all waiting with the goodies
Better go as I'm supposed to be working - shhh!
(((((hugs)))))Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
Morning All
Hope everyones ok this morning.
Had a terrible nights sleep my back seems to be getting worse. Tried to get an appt at the drs but couldnt even get through on the phone. Thinking of going to the walk in centre later on if it gets no better.
The house looks like a bomb has gone off in it so I need to get tidied up before I get dd from pre-school. Tonight we are expecting afew trick or treaters so I will put a pumpkin in the window until 7pm when DD goes to bed and then I'll put it out and hide in the back room. I have no idea what were eating for tea but dd will be having the last of the scouse and dumplings from last night.
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
