I am a little bit OS today, so I thought that I could postWM on, TD on (not very OS, but it cuts down on the ironing time, which is a huge bonus for me) and BM on. Home made tomato soup for lunch and not sure whats for dinner tonight. I had plans to take the kids over to Liverpool for a party, but I have a rotton head cold....you know when just over your eyes, it aches, well, its like that. DS1 doesnt seem to mind and DS2 is too young to understand really. Turned out well

PG xx0 -
morning everyone.
back at work this afternoon.
just back from GP with DS. no further forward with his nausea - to have some blood tests done.
Mrs Mix - we have a reluctant patient too at the vets. takes two of us to push and pull our hound into the room for her boosters. then its a case of cornering her in the room and the vet sticking the needle in anywhere he can get. fortunately she keeps good health and we only need to go once a year. last time she reluctantly got on the scales for the first time, but we got a good report.
got some sweeties in for the neighbours kids who come round. I'm going to be at parents night though so will miss seeing them. there's only a few who come and its all kids we know though.x x x0 -

Morning all!
Disgruntled today as part of a filling fell out last night and I have no idea when it can be fixed! My dentist only works part time. He is NHS, but shut today, full tomorrow, does not work Friday... I am going to have to call in early tomorrow and hope that they can fit me in somehow. I am really careful with my teeth, but the RA medication makes my dry mouth syndrome worse, so things happen.
Even though I live in Wales' second biggest city it is incredibly difficult to get any (private or NHS) dentist here, and the NHSdirect is a joke.
Three years ago a crown broke on the Saturday before a Bank Holiday. I lived on painkillers for 4 days because I did not qualify for emergency treatment - the swelling had to obscure an eye or breathing had to be affected before they would give out the emergency number.
My NHS dentist is excellent, but it is getting to the point where I would cheerfully pay for private treatment!
Moaning over!!!!
PenPin looking forward to the hen cam - that was the only bit of Big Brother I ever enjoyed
Aussie so jealous of the weather!!!
Csarina looking forward to the next installment
jackie O thinking of you
mioliere hope all is going well
Scuzz I agree, wait a bit longer, call in a cheerful tone and suggest something that does not put him (or you!) under any pressure.
DD just phoned up, so pointed her towards Martin's weekly e-mail as she banks with Nat West so can have £10, and can also get the 250 Tesco pts from the pharmacy. DS1 signed up last night. He is with Nat West too, so they will be £25 better off thanks to Martin! :money: Wish iIcould work out how much the site has saved me!
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Scuzz - agree about waiting a bit longer, then might even try the "hope I didn't miss a call, but I've had a really busy time and haven't had a chance to check for messages" approach before suggesting a meeting at the w/e - suggests you've not been hanging at the end of the phone but have other options!Resolution:
