    Morning everyone
    Hope everyone is well
the dog has to go to the vet's today for his booster's so he will sulk as soon as he realises where we are going and be in a moody with me all day
the parents evening at dd's school went well from the way the teacher was gushing over her I get the feeling she could do no wrong
the college are impressed with ds1 good hard worker well mannered and behaved so was pleased with them
not sure whats for dinner today but no-one will go hungry
will need to put my poster saying no trick or treat tonight as I'm afraid I don't agree with it because as parents we spend our time telling the children not to accept sweets from strangers and then encourage it once a year and I know it can be done where you just go to people you know but apart from my immediate neighbours I don't know the others and when I used to open the door it was either teenagers in just a mask or people I didn't know
sorry for the rant but thats my opinion
best get on as it's bin and reecycling day
    have a good day
:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: to all especially moiliere pen pin and ivyleaf and anyone I've forgotten
    pam xx

I actually agree with you, Pam, but I knew someone who did this a couple of years ago and ended up with a brick through their window and a lot of trouble for months afterwards and, with anti-social behaviour very much on the increase, I'm a bit of a coward. I hate to admit it. Perhaps I should be braver? You are right, though.

Oh, and thank you so much for your kind thoughts and hugs. They are much appreciated.

  • Morning Guys!

Have DD at home today as she is suffering this month with "womens" troubles. She's been up since 5.30.

Im feeling a little brighter this morning, but just feel so drained. Back at hospital tomorrow for more tests and have the nurse coming today with some shots:D

Chickens are all still alive:rolleyes: ...we have 4 of them. Will post some pics later and OH is going to do a live feed so they can be watched online:rotfl: ...how sad is that!

WM & DW are both on. There is also a white wash to do today and DDs bedspread needs washing as niece (666 on her forehead) got paint on it on Saturday:eek:     We are having Spagbol for dinner today and Im having liver/bacon/mash for lunch-courtesy of M&S....at £2.18...I can stretch to that and it has high calories and 40g of protein:D

    Anyway, hugs to all.

Good morning to everybody who has already posted and hi to everybody who follows.

Hope all are well this fine chilly morning - :grouphug: and :j for all who need/want them. :T for those who deserve some!

I'm another one not keen on Hallowe'en tradition - the children where I live are mostly little hooligans with only a tiny percentage of decent ones. Luckily the local community groups are providing a free fancy dress disco/buffet/hallowe'en party tonight in an attempt to stop them from frightening older people (I'm the local sheltered accommodation warden). We were really dreading last night (Mischief Night) which has always been an excuse for mindless vandalism - again there was a free party provided to keep the kids occupied and IT WORKED.

I think we're on grilled belly pork, mustard mash and cabbage for tea tonight (at least that's the plan so far!).

Could wiith a Smartprice Root Veg pack for a Turkey Casserole tomorrow - think I'll send Mr Ollie to Asda for one today and he can check out the whoopsies while he's there - training him up OS Style at the moment.

    Good morning everyone,

PP - glad the chickens are settling in - have you thought of any names yet?

Moiliere - HUGS, glad you are all about to talk about it xx

I agree with Mrs mix as well, although my 2 will be going out tonight, but only in our area - we have quite a few people who seam to love halloween and decorate their houses and do games etc for the children - last year a young girl who didnt even have children had them dipping their hands in slime to get a gift, and squirting them with silly string etc. We do have a rule of only going to houses with their lights on (hall or porch) and they are only allowed to knock once, if no one answers, they have to leave. I still go with them as im not happy with them walking around in the dark on their own.

Have taken a portion of chicken stew out of the freezer for dinner tonight, which we will have with dumplings, yummy!!

Nothing much happening here, one LO here, been a really quiet week so far, which is nice for my 2 and the LO, but not good for my money situation, but never mind, still hoping things will improve soon.

Anyway, better go, DD has just gotton up, and i need to get DS up before the LO gets here.

Hope everyone has a lovely day, and not to stressfull an evening!!
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

(((hugs))) to you PENPIN and your DD suffering for being a woman, poor thing. Hope you both feel a lot better soon. Say 'hi' to the chicks and I, for one, would love the live feed - it's not sad at all so please do it so we can all watch them!

SMOKY - how are things for you and DH?

TRU - loved the pumpkins - now, where did I put mine? Brilliant idea and certainly gets the message across!

AMIE - your party sounds great - loved the ice cold hands idea. Hope you all have a lovely time!

WM is on, BM is about to go on, salad stuff ready to prep for dinner and letters ready to post when I go to the shop. Thought I'd have been back to the gym this week but I still feel lethargic after the cold I had - as soon as I've done a bit of housework, I feel cream-crackered again. My DH says I shouldn't go back until I am really better but it seems such a waste of money. I've had four weeks off and it has cost me £29! Not very OS!

Well, I'd better get on with making the salad and thinking of something for pudding so I'd better get a wiggle on.

Will call in later to see how everyone is.

    (((hugs))) to all.

Good morning everyone. I'm sorry for your loss, Mioliere.

Going to a halloween party this morning which promises to be a little chaotic since all the guests are either crawlers or toddlers. Got to go make some buns in a minute. DH is busy making pancakes for breakfast.

My shopping bill has gone up a lot lately. I think prices have sneeked up by a few pence on most things. Going to have to be more careful in future. On the upside though, I've learned a nappy fold that's allowed me to use a load of wraps that I was given but didn't work the way I was doing it.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning Everyone

Not done much in the way of OS recently. Not spent much which is good, but did get a few things from a local farm shop the other day, which was a bit costly, but such good quality.

At work as usual. Off to do daily clicks now

Sorry not very talkative today, feeling very down. Had what I thought was a really good date, with good signs, but still not heard from the other person.
