Still fluttering along slowly here, bag of rubbish and a couple of bits for the charity shop sorted from my bedroom (I have only really done part of the chest of drawers and really need to attack the shelves)
Living and kitchen areas pretty tidy, and washing happening regularly enough that the mountain isn't growing so quite pleased. There is a bit of ironing to do but not too much, I do a few bits in the morning before I go to work as I am usually looking for clean activities to do and it's too hot to iron in the afternoon.
Back to making an effort on the slinky challenge this week as only 5 weeks left until the hols, I have basically stayed put over the last month but happy with that as have not been focussing on diet but just being moderate. Will be at my 2nd target in 0.5 kgs and then need to decide if I settle for that and plan to try and maintain it through the hols or wether to go to the next target. Started at 73 kgs, 1.65 m tall, first target was 68 kgs so no longer 'overweight', next target is 65 kgs, I am 65.5 kgs today. Next target will be 63 kgs . I do definitely feel better for it, no backache now, hip now uncomfortable rather than painful. Many clothes still tighter than I would like. Ideally would like to be 60 or just under to be able to say 59 something. Biggest thing that has helped me keep at it is that I am doing it for me,myself and I, I want to feel better, reduce or give up blood pressure treatment, have more energy etc.
Sorry to have rabbitted on for so long, escpecially to you lot as so many of you have so much to cope with, I feel a bit of a fraud sometimes. Off to make another coffee and quickly dash through the shower

    You lot are great!

I still have the conclusion of my essay to write and it has to be submitted by 11.00 today. I might manage WMx1 today so as to maintain my claim to be a Flylady. I have already picked up a few bits of moss that Rosie has brought in off the lawn between her toes.

As I switched on my computer, I glanced out of the window and saw a squirrel dash across the lawn and up the ash tree outside our back gate, carrying something red. It then sat in the crook of the ash tree for 5 minutes, eating, on a level with the study bedroom window and so close that I could see what it had got: a large strawberry, obviously culled from my carefully tended plants by the back door. The critter didn't even have the decency to take it away out of my sight before it started scoffing its breakfast.
    :mad::mad::mad:

It is now sunbathing halfway up the ash trunk. I shall send Rosie out on strawberry guard duty...

Ionafan, love the strawberry story, I need to go out in a bit and pick mine for today, before the birds get them.

Wm is on, nearly finished, then going to peg out, but is a bit overcast here atm, but I think that will burn off later on.

Business bank account to check in a bit
    Hoovering to be done
Loads of small stuff to do as well.

JoJo, you start to worry over YOU please, and not what your work think about you applying for another job.
(it is nothing to do with them)
They have had their chance, it sounds like it is time for you to move on to something you love and want to do, leaving you moving heavy loads around when you have just been off sick is just daft, good luck with the job hunting

Assignment finished and submitted with an hour to spare. I don't think it's very good, but I only need a Pass. Just one more 2500 word essay to write by 19th July, and no more lectures :D

The strawberry guard has deserted her post and is lying on the landing, waiting for me to take her out. We will go the shady way, and she will only have a short walk now - but a longer one in the cool of the evening.

Will hang out the washing on my way!

(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to all in need xx

I have been to the local bakers for a ham salad so looking forward to lunch, they do lovely salads and all very fresh. Tonight not so sure, im not feeling inspired by anything for tonight as its so hot, I want to make potato salad but no chives to be had in the local shop and it tastes much better with, need to also spring clean the fridge, probably the freezer too and the usual garden weeding, dog is in a dither as its so hot for walkies so last night was a long paddle and a short walk

I redid mine last month.. Bulb and British Gas All Online tariff (only available through uswitch) were exactly the same.. Bulb started saying £113 a month until I put in my actual numbers when it jumped to £197! which is what I pay anyway.. to anyone changing do not ely on the 'this will be £X cheaper.. put in your own data and get it compared properly... And avoid Scottish Power they are extortionists!!!

Mr LW has decided to sort the loft - hence a veritable avalance of old cardboard boxes, jiffy bags, bubble wrap, bits of wood, offcuts of plastic pipe and other assorted gibble raining down on me from above.

Two car-loads gone to the tip - we even moved my wheelchair out of the car (it usually lives there) in order to make a bit of extra room for gibble transportation.

It's a start.... we really and truly need to empty the loft; I have never been able to get up there, and he's finding it harder and harder to do so, and the time is going to come when we can't access it at all. Rather worrying, really.

Lamewolf well done on you both for getting on and sorting the loft, if you're not able to get up there easily it's not really a viable storage space so best sort it out now. I cleared part of my wardrobe this morning, 2 shelves done 2 to go.

Sorry to have rabbitted on for so long, escpecially to you lot as so many of you have so much to cope with, I feel a bit of a fraud sometimes.

In which case, I am definitely joining the Flylady Fraud club! You have done way more than I have today. I am usually counting myself in just by achieving the wm and the ironing - and today I haven't even run the WM! I got home from work and 3pm and quite honestly I cba to do anything. The list is looooonnnggg so there is plenty of choice but I can't summon up any guag. When I got in, I opened the windows (does that count as flying??), and quite frankly could cry at the state of our hovel. I need to get a grip.

My attempt at getting going with some exercise to shift weight has also come to a standstill, as I keep telling myself it is too hot.....maybe later :o

Well done on getting the essay submitted, Ionafan. :T. Nearly there now...
