TY Piggers ~~ to add insult to injury, my old supplier has just written to me to inform me of price rises.

3 hours later, I am happy to say the patio is now power washed!

Ionafan, love the strawberry story, I need to go out in a bit and pick mine for today, before the birds get them.

Wm is on, nearly finished, then going to peg out, but is a bit overcast here atm, but I think that will burn off later on.

Business bank account to check in a bit
    Hoovering to be done
Loads of small stuff to do as well.

JoJo, you start to worry over YOU please, and not what your work think about you applying for another job.
(it is nothing to do with them)
They have had their chance, it sounds like it is time for you to move on to something you love and want to do, leaving you moving heavy loads around when you have just been off sick is just daft, good luck with the job hunting

I've quietly asked for opinions from four trusted people in the place, one of whom has direct involvement with the PRU in question.

Only one was vaguely negative; the others thought it would be a good idea, taking into account the increase in money and reduction in physical work.

Would it be looked upon kindly in interview if asked why I wanted the post to say something along the lines of already having the skills and experience and 'really enjoying' what I do now/the relationships with other staff, but taking into account that I'm 45 and have inflammatory arthritis, I'm being realistic about my longterm ability to scurry up and down ladders and lift heavy equipment all day?

(I obviously won't be mentioning that the identical walking distance (but not uphill), school holidays, having a boss who has limited capacity for understanding the illness, getting more money and that I never wanted the job I got moved into in the first place have more bearing upon the decision. Or that the new place is two minutes from the supermarket, five from the pub and if I CBA to walk it, I could stroll to the bus stop and get dropped practically outside there/home in three minutes flat. Whilst wearing nice clothes instead of ones that either get ruined or look scruffy because I'm scrabbling around fixing and moving things all day).

Came home to find Himself has made the kitchen look usable (still needs a good scrub, as it's not up to my standards) and he's inexplicably taken himself off to the big supermarket to get some frozen food in for the weekend whilst he's away. Oh, and he's turned down an offer to stay an extra night away by leaving straight after rehearsal tomorrow - he's coming home and then leaving at stupid o'clock Saturday morning instead.

All that remains to be seen is whether the ferry is able to sail back on Sunday night.

    My plans for the weekend are therefore;

    Bleach/scrub kitchen.
    Bleach/scrub bathroom.
    Bleach/scrub shower room.

    Sleep.
    Eat.
    Sleep.

Possibly go and see a play a mate is in or go to the pub and meet up with other mates,
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    ARGH!!!! that is all... mostly...

My life this week is a monts worth of Eastenders with a chunk of Corrie thrown in... I have tonsillyitis, laryngitis and I've had to spend the day on the phone whispering to people who cannot hear me.. CF saga continues... he has kicked Moomin out because.. she answered back while she was being screamed at for lady hazards (Wearing her PJ's, a pair of jeans and a jumper.. in her bag she has 1 pair of jeans, a school top and a pair of school trousers.. and all her make-up, nothing else.. no knickers, no socks.. nada.. ) .. DD2 is moving back on Thursday.. OH's sister is unwell and restrained in hospital with something listed somewhere between HIV and Leukaemia.. hopefully nothing serious I do not wish bad things on her.. she is clearly very unwell mentally.

Going back to car resprays.. we were quoted just under £5k for 3 panels redoing, thanksully the insurance covered most of it.. I dread to think how much the whole thing would cost.. probably cheaper to buy a new car!

So.. todays I've juggled 5 loads of washing, 3x DW, 1x TD, The dry stuff on the line folded and away.. kitchen table is still buried though.. Watered all the outside and inside foliage. 1spent ages on the phone trying to speak through my tonsilitis and laryngitis to the police, Social Services and school.. My life is blooming full of delights.. 9/12 at home as of next Thursday.. I have run out of rooms and DD2 is having the front room as her space and I'm stacking them up in DD3's room.. If the big 2 move home, I'm screwed!

Big hugs all round. Just realised I haven't posted at all this week!

WM on, garden watered, business bank account checked (sob sob). Two job applications made. We've decided DH is going to wind up the business. Too much stress, too little return, constant tax bills - seriously CBA with it anymore. Being a small business in this country sucks.

We would be better off if I went FT and he stayed at home for a bit.

    Big love to all xx

Update - floors mopped, kids ready for school and pre school, then I'm off to the gym x

Ok didn't go back to bed, instead :-

Cleaned the outside of the windows,
    I've posted two parcels
    Had my glasses mended
And listened to my cousin on a local radio station via my laptop.

Not too sure what to do next.......
