Piggers the upset over a pair of knickers was probably the final straw that broke the camel's back; you know as well as I that it's very hard to get yourself out of a bad situation, even when you know it is what you desperately need to do, so young Moomin has my utter respect for getting herself back to yours. I only hope Tiddles makes the decision to follow suit - maybe if she sees her sister make the move, it will encourage her to do so too.

atb all my hopes on the job front, hun.

Right, Mr LW is back from the farmers market - so a spot of fridge Tetris for me next.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Afternoon all. Sorry have been MIA but the heat has done nothing for me at all - I HATE it!!!!

But I did clean the house through on Friday, which is something I haven't done for a while, although there was an ulterior motive..lol I had my new cleaner coming round to talk before she starts tomorrow :D

My birth certificate has finally arrived so I can sort out the DBS for my driving position finally :D Although I do still have some things to sort out regarding my OH appt that threw up some significant health risks....aaah!!! Thankfully not to do with driving so that's okay :D It just put me in a bit of a funk when I came out of my appointment. Still thankfully I’m over it now.

I’m also doing something positive regarding trying to lose the weight instead of just diet alone. I’m going off to a Slimming World group tomorrow with my ex cleaner, which I am actually looking foreward to. I’ll find some more receipes to do which I am always up for. :D

Jojo how is the pain now? I hope you aren’t doing too much and himself is looking after you. If not maybe a wee trip to the hospital might be needed.
Piggers I really feel for you, poor Moomin thought she was doing the right thing when she went to move in with CF, but thankfully she has seen sense. But what on earth has he been doing to her? It must be heartbreaking to see how your little girl has changed so much since being away but thankfully she is now with you and the rest of your clan. She’ll soon be your old Moomin before long and looking healthy too. And I wouldn’t worry about the sleeping arrangements knowing you as we all do I know that you’ll make it all work out.

Jojo.. I did ask her if she would have blood checks.. she is a fainter though and is really reluctant.. I am getting her to drs asap because I want to discuss a few things with them about her.. I have told her this too and I said I know she hates blood tests but I might over rule her on this occasion because I feel she would benefit more. I need to take DD3 as well.. I am almost 100% certain she has PCOS and I would like a diagnosis of that as early as we can so we can find things that help her now rather than wait until she wants a family and struggles.. I need to take a few forms in too so we will sort everything together.. Monday job ;)

Natty.. She is coming out with more and more tales about what they did.. while I am not entirely delusional and I do not for one second believe she was entirely angelic.. the punishments were not befitting the alleged crime, I do not think children should be solely responsible for doing all the housework (I sometimes wish I did though :p) and I think CF allowing his baggage to verbally, emotionally & physically abuse my daughters is abhorrent.. and refusing to feed them properly is even worse... I might be going for charges to be brought here.. I'm pretty sure it is a crime to be this vile.

Pigpen - wow. Moomin is so lucky to have you as her mum. Fingers crossed that Tiddles makes the move back. And of course you will cope, as you always do.

ATB - everything duly crossed for you.

Today has been spent clearing out the dining room - hurrah! Spiders, webs and various other wildlife has been cleaned away. But then everything went back in - booo! The cunning plan to get some bits thrown or donated hasn't quite come to fruition, but the afternoon is young....I am working on it...

Sounds like a perfect present, HB - I'd love it if such things came up round here, as I a) hate sliced bread and b) the oven thermostat is borked.

Teenage boys and camera phones? - It started happening almost instantly that phones with cameras became cheap, usually by force or by 'steaming' into changing rooms as a group. And because it wasn't an 'offence', they didn't get more than a detention issued by the old men who were mostly in the senior positions in schools, if anything.

Panasonics come up fairly regularly around here. This one came from Weston Mill and there is another one available at Callington. Do you want me to get it for you if it's still available and hang on to it until you're down here again? It's £20.

As to Upskirting, Wera's bill would have made it a sexual offence so the perpetrators would be on the Sex Offenders Register. As she'd so carefully arranged to have the press there and it wasn't Brexit-related they fell on it as a story they actually wanted to report. As a result it will now be going through with the co-operation of the Conservatives and Chope and all of the other old perverts can ....

Welcome home, Moomin, and let's hope Tiddles realises vry quickly life will be more pleasant if she joins her.

Good luck ATB. Fingers crossed for you.

One lodger out, one lodger in, so two beds made, shower room s&s'd, ground floor vacuummed, second load in the WM, third load will go in afterwards and all will be pegged out, mountains of chalet towels and bedding folded, sorted and stacked in my office, breadmaker tested on a wholemeal recipe and found to be in good working order.

I'm now too hot to move and have a kitten behaving like a hot water bottle next to me. Kelpie's wearing a wet towel.
    Better is good enough.

That would be amazing, HB - Himself reckons that it'll be too heavy to wrangle on a train with everything we'll have (tent, etc, as I've got some work at Beautiful Days as Deputy Production Manager on one of the smaller stages) and has suggested if it would be OK with you, to pay for it to be sent via Parcelforce?

We've finally cooled down to about 28/82 degrees in here after he set up the fan plus ice packs and water standing in front of it - and Idiot Cat looked ridiculously happy when a wrapped ice cream was placed on his tummy whilst I faffed about sitting up - I missed all but the first ten minutes of the football by falling asleep on the settee (what a shame, eh?).

Having a house that points Southeast is great in terms of being bright - and warmer in winter - but it's not so great in summer, especially with the block paving out the front which acts as a storage heater.

He's now doing Tea. I'm not arguing about his definition of the timing of Tea right now, though. Mainly because I've also been provided with tea.

Oooh. There's what sounds like a punchup about to happen in the next road - two cars have been beeping at one another, one leant on the horn and now there's raised voices.

We shall leave them to get on with it unobserved, I think.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Hope it blows over soon - had that most of the week here, hence hoping to move soon!

    Weekend has been productive!

-Other half has accepted that the freezer needed emptying and did a brilliant job of making chicken yesterday and seafood with noodles today, they've eaten or thrown away as much of the three (or four?) loaves of bread they've been hoarding in there and unearthed a LOT of lollies I had no idea we had. Perfect timing!

-1/3 of the way packed. Everything is wrapped and boxed and labelled neatly.Grew up enough to throw away a lot of seminar notes from 2010-14 - if I've not looked at them in 4+ years I'm not likely to need them any time soon! Sifted out about 5 sheets of paper that may be useful in the future - the rest is in the recycling.

-3 more auctions ending on eBay tonight - the clutter is going!

-Next week: Kitchen and bedroom packing!
