BT price increases September 2018

just phone up and cancel giving price rise as the reason.
They say they sent you the email remember!0 -
Rejoined BT for broadband and phone when I moved six weeks ago. Currently paying £35.99 for 18 months.
Already received (and used) their £130 gift card incentive and have £85 from TopCashback sitting in my bank account.
Can I really dump BT only two months in to an eighteen month contract with no penalty for what are, in my case, some insignificant price changes?
Copy of email.
I had the exact same email. Rejoined at the beginning of June and the only thing changing for me is call costs. As I never use the landline for calls, it won't affect me, but still won't stop me looking for a better deal in the next 2 weeks to bring in more new customer offers and cashback!0 -

I always check my spam folder daily- nothing in there. Great suggestion though...0 -
            Yes it is.
The only thing you can say is that you were not informed and then its up to BT to prove it, keep at them to send the original email, if they can't, use the link on this page:
or get on to the executive office.
You
Many thanks Boatman- I have asked repeatedly for the email to be forwarded to me. Every time, this request has been ignored in their email responses back. No surprise there, so I will escalate this to seek a resolution0 -

Are you sure that you and @Snowtiger are eligible for leaving without ETC's if you've had no rise in the BB or LR charges?0 -

I can only go by what the email said, but it says I can. Haven't spoken to them yet though as not found a deal to move to.0 -

Is there a number to call on the emails/letters. I still haven’t received mine yet, so was going to call next week and didn’t want to go ‘round the houses’.0

Can you let us know what they say,as I not had an email either.0
